Far Cry 4 PC Location Name/Info bug!

On the PC whenever I enter a new location the location name and information pops up in the center of the screen and DOES NOT go away until I die.

    Game Mode: Offline Campaign

    How I have to fix:
    New location entered
New location name and height displayed on screen for unlimited amount of time (tested over 40 min)
    Reach a checkpoint/save point
Leap to my death off of a cliff
    Respawn at nearest checkpoint reached
    problem solved.

Issue is that doing this with every new location is horrendously time consuming and takes away from the game.

    Update:

Upon testing multiple areas, only areas that have height associated with the name when it pops up stays. Typically these are places that you can takeover or have a save point.
The only one so far I have come across that does not have a save point is the monastary.

Fix for one without savepoint, find a checkpoint and leave checkpoint, then exit and load previous checkpoint.

Am I only one with this issue?
