Wow! I had over 30 hours in, 48% complete. I was going after chests, masks, all the secondary missions, etc.
I played co op with a friend and this happened to me as well. I restarted my game on Saturday, Dec 13. Damn Ubisoft.this bug is persistent across all platforms and you guys still haven't fixed it yet? C'mon. What are you waiting for? You guys sold this game on the co op experience and co op bug makes the game unplayable (to a degree). I had loads of fun playing co op with my homie, but I'm afraid to touch it now for fear of losing a necessary part of the game.
Get this sh*t fixed guys. WTF? It's been long enough. I don't think I will buy any DLC until you guys get this taken care of, and I hope I'm not the only one.

Screw Ubisoft man... they have royally f*cked everything up that they have released and my biggest worry above all other games is that they are gonna do the same with Massive's The Division... if they screw that up too I will hunt them all down personally!
Ubisoft alone have changed my view totally on pre-ordering games.... in the future I am going to sit on my hands and wait at least 2 months after a release before buying one of their games again.

I restarted my game as I cudnt be bothered waiting for the patch to come out. I lost 25 hours. However since this new patch for ps4 came out I went on coop from the main menu and it worked. I played for a bit, quit and went on campaign on line then offline. I tried deliberately to get the glitch to work but it didn't. I believe they have fixed the glitch from happening but it wont fix what's broken. I restarted the game before the patch it never went online until the patch 1.03 came out on ps4. I'm sorry guys but if you want to play coop you will need to restart the game. The only thing I've found so far is when you join a coop game from the main menu and you actually get in the game you will notice you ammo for everything will go right back down to basic. I believe this is a bug. The good news is you dont need to buy all the ammo and stuff again. The bug corrects itself but thought u all would appreciate the heads up. I also went in online campaign mode and tried to join a coop match from ingame coop join and ended up with a black screen. I just shut down the game and relaunched it. So a word of warning: If you want to play coop do it from the main menu. I hope this helps everyone get a solid answer for this
I know how you feel lol at 25 hours in I was at 45% ish. But who knows if a patch will be released to reconstruct corrupt save data. But I bit the bullet and tried on purpose to get the glitch to work but it never did. Ive played online a few times now and its still fine. Trouble is finding games though as everyone seems to be avoiding it until they hear its fixed lol
