Your NAT type do not match. Both players must set their NAT type to open in order to connect with each other. You need to port forward a bunch of IP:

    Game Ports:
    Inbound UDP: 3074
    Outbound TCP: 80, 443

    Uplay PC:
    TCP: 80, 443, 13000, 13005, 13200

The way to port forward these IP differs from different Internet service provider so you probably got to read the manual or user guide that they give when you purchased your router/modem.

My NAT Type is matching and i had the same Problem...but i found a solution

There are a few points you have to check

PC, PS4 - dont know if it works on XBOX
    TCP: 80, 443, 13000, 13005, 13200
    UDP: 9000, 21120, 3074

Ask your provider if he is blocking some ports with their modems, routers or to HQ - in Austria this was my Problem with my Provider
They gave me now a port forwarding
I also did a manually forwarding on my Accesspoint - mybe UPNP isnt working right with farcry

    And now its working perfectly

I can't invite my friends, I got stuck in that purple screen that suppose to load my friend's list, but nothing happens.
But if I quit que FC4, and begin to play GTA5 with this same friend, everything works good -- is not network problem.

The same. This is problem on server-side (probably server cannot create the game room, due to lack of memory). Time by time invitation (tricky approach was chosen by UBI to do that) is working with the same friends. But on today CO-OP is unstable feature of FC4 on PC.

Hey, Ubi! The multi-player is still broken in Far Cry 4. I'm on PC, and a friend and I just spend the last hour trying to invite/join each other's games, before GIVING UP. It appears that the random co-op matchmaking works, but I'd much rather play with friends.
