I'm done with Ubisoft. Their attitude towards PC gamers absolutely stinks. They have quite literally become worse than EA. There hasn't been a SINGLE PC release that worked on the first day. Watchdogs was a mess, Assassins Creed Unity is still a mess and Far Cry 4 is a black stuttering mess. One of the biggest deal breakers for me was the forced companion app and paid micro transactions in Unity. That just doesn't fly with me. I tried the app and the update wiped my progress and I have switched it on since.

I'm so sick of paying for this crap. It takes alot for me to say that I'm boycotting something but congratulations Ubisoft you just succeeded in pushing me to do this. I was never again buy a Ubisoft game on launch and will wait for $5 sales and even then we'll see if I even bother getting it. Depends on the user reviews.

    Ubisoft you SUCK.

So far, I've only bought two games that cannot even launch from day 1, one is a B class title, the other one is Far Cry 4 which supposed to be AAA game, this is really, really unacceptable and ridiculous for a AAA title game, please fix your product as soon as possible! I don't want a refund, I don't need you UBI say you're sorry, I just want the product I bought can properly work!!

This. 1,000,000 times this. I avoided Watch Dogs because I knew better. I avoided AC Unity because I knew better. I thought long and hard before giving Ubi one more chance with this game. Shame on me for my trusting stupidity. Never again. Never. You have done way more than burn bridges with me over this stupidity. The G13 and Logitech Gaming software has been a staple gaming accessory for many players for YEARS now. Hell, even FC3 worked with the G13 just fine (at least when I finally picked it up).

Ubisoft is now POISON in my mind. I've already given crap to all my coworkers and gaming friends about Ubi games in the past year, and my bad will and bad word of mouth will only be more intense and more visceral from now on.

And lest anyone think me too harsh, I have plenty of patience for the normal and typical kinds of bugs expected at launch. But not even being able to start the game at all due to having a COMMON peripheral plugged into my computer? One that I would actually use to to play the game with? One that has been around for years and many gamers use? One made and supported by a core gaming peripheral manager program and one of the biggest players in mainstream PC peripherals (Logitech)?

That's just sheer negligence and incompetence to roll out a game without ever testing against such a common peripheral. I can't think of ANY recent games I've played, AAA or not, that had a problem with either the G13 or a wired X360 controller.

And I'm not looking forward to hacking my way around the mouse acceleration issues with the game, if and when I can ever actually play it.

Ubisoft is just incompetent beyond belief.

Hi Guys, as soon as we have an ETA for the next patch we will let you know. Patches must be tested before being released.

In the meantime please ensure you are opening a ticket with Technical Support https://support.ubi.com
The best thing I every read... LOOOL. Test the game by releasing it, but patches need testing first..

Yesterday I could play while G13 was deinstalled and disconnected. Today I can play for 1 minute, afterwards the game crashes again.
    20 tries later...

Really, publich the game in 2015 when its done! That ****, including the buggy uplay application which is frustrating to see "you played 1 minute, resync your savegame". After this game, I will really deinstall UPlay and never support such a company again.

Hell I can't even get the installer to work.

It would seem that the DirectX packages and the VCredistributables are both corrupt in my installation so I can't even get to the loading screen. The Uplay installer is at fault for this. Had I bought it from Steam I'd probably just be getting the black screen. Yeah, Ubisoft has really just given everyone the middle finger. Server side issues are one thing: you can't really prepare for millions of games on millions of different connections. But when your game is just completely broken? Yeah, all on you. And you suck for it.
