I also had this error few times. It usually hapends during fast travel or when starting mission. I think It have something to do with memory leak. I usualy get warning that there is not enough ram and then after few more minutes I got got this error and sometimes I can't even ctrl+alt+del and need to reset PC.
I hope it will get fixed in next patch.

Your better off just verifying files on steam rather then reinstalling it is a waste of time. From what I have read on the reddit post it seems video settings related has nvidia released optimized drivers for Far Cry 4 yet.

its NOT AN ERROR with the game its a END USER error as yes something is wrong with the install ON YOUR PC ..to fix it... verify your game install and also run the game with ADMIN rights
