    Uplay wont download Day1 patch!!!

    Spent the last 2 hours trying to start Farcry4 and all that happens is Uplay says there's a patch then refuses to download it, come up with message :-

    Uplay is unable to start your download. Check you have an active internet connection and sufficient space on your hard drive then try again.

    Any ideas guys as I have a good internet connection and plenty of space on my drive, what a waste of money!!!

    Sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Please try checking the Uplay connection settings >Network > disable "Allow Uplay to use a proxy connection to access the internet" and try limiting the bandwidth usage. Please try temporarily disabling any firewalls or antivirus programs to see if it helps with the connectivity. If not, please try connecting to the modem directly.     Day 1 patch

    Hi mine has a similar problem, uplay doesnt even recognise there is a patch and i m stuck with version 1.0.1.
    Also is there any reason why after every objective or cut screen it crashes and all the characters freeze and the story doesnt move on? I have figured out however that doing ctrl + Alt+Delete and entering the task manager windows the screen and then i am able to continue until the next point in the game.

    Is 1.0.1 the one without the patch?
    If so, Uplay doesnt recognize that there is a patch for me either.
    Is there a way to manually download and install the patch?

    Same for me, Uplay just won´t download it. When I made a thread on this forum on this question, it was deleted for no reason so thx for opening new one with the same issue. Note: Reinstalling Uplay or checking file integrity of the game won´t help.

    no idea how you even find what version I have, or even how u guys found it, but I cant even load the game up. just says its unable to start the application correctly....

    Pretty big patch!

    Yes tried all that and no luck, opened a ticket with support and still waiting for a reply, sick of the rubbish already, how the heck can a company release a game in this state is beyond me and I sure as hell will never buy a game from this company ever again
