FC2 and 3 had mouse issues as well, just not to this extent. They had easy and usually universal fixes. This, so far, does not.Originally Posted by CitizenOfDni Go to original post
So happy I found this thread. A lot of people well tell you many ways to go about fixing it but I can save you the trouble and tell you that there is NO fix as of right now.
Going into your "GamerProfile" and changing "mousesmoothness" etc. Does not work. Unpacking files and changing values also, DOES NOT WORK.
Just thought I would save people some time before they read about these fixes and go to try it. I wanted to play this game so badI don't understand how it can be released like this... It's completely unplayable and pathetic.
I played the game for 10 mins and was ready to jump through my monitor, HORRIBLE!
There seems to be a high amount of input lag for me. Framerate seems good, but it is as if there is quadruple frame buffering on or something.
I have triple buffering off, vsync off, 100hz refresh rate, GTX 970, Nvidia settings but set AA down to 2x TXAA instead of default 4x (though it doesn't seem to relate to this issue), Logitech G400 mouse. Borderless, fullscreen, or windowed, doesn't matter.
Farcry 3 feels good to me. Just played through it a week or two ago.
Logged in to this forum for the first time because of this bug. Seriously, ubi... Not only is the control utter ****, but even if you would get used to the unplayable mouse settings (seems impossible) it would completely **** up your muscle memory in any other fps.
Also on board the train that there is NO FIX for this as of now; I've tried everything.
Please. Fix. Now.
Edit: If you think it works for you, try putting two things on your mousepad (two cans of coke or whatever). Drag the mouse to the left thing, and then move it first very quickly once to the right thing, then once very slowly. You will see that you have mouse acc, because you will move (a lot) more when you move it quickly.
