I can picture the decision makers sitting in a meeting asking the question, "How can we get rid of the MP IGE in the FC series"? Let's create "data" to prove why. Note to Ubisoft: Decisions should always come the ground up, not the other way around. It's called Business 101. More money can be made when clients are happy.
THIS! When he said about the "data" that really made me angry. Because it was their fault if their "data" said that a few of people were making maps... FC3 MP was the most unfinished crap that's the reason! Nobody was able to play maps at all because the classic server browser was missing!Originally Posted by Shinyt4pestry71 Go to original post
I am glad the tools are powerful, but I am shocked that you can't create patrol paths. That is really pathetic, even the original Timesplitters has that option! It is really going to be the strength of the AI that makes or breaks the singleplayer editor.
I want to create an outpost where the player can be detected by a few AI on one side of the map, but AI on the other side of the map remain unaware (unless an alarm is pulled). I also want the ability to add some AI characters with extra health or increase intelligence. I want to be able to program not only there patrol movement, but also the probability of their attack routes. Are these things possible?
BTW: You can share your singleplayer maps with the community. Think of it like sharing LBP levels for single players only.
