    Hey guys,

Being a PS4 player I didn't realize the X1 doesn't have screenshot support yet. I've looked around at a few workarounds but none of them are very good. Until screenshot support is added it seems the best option is to take a video clip and pull a still from it. I've spoken with Vaidas today and he said that while getting the highest resolution possible is best, he can still work with smaller images. Even ones captured with a camera could be doable but he might have to be a bit more creative in the presentation.

i might add that ist possibly better if you dont take the still from the Video, but take Video from a still.
like pause a replay and then gameDVR it.
Reason beeing the nature of Video Encoding where Details are lost on Scenes with much going on on Screen.
A Video capture of a paused, non moving Screen will propably provide you with a better Image Quality then a screenshot from a moving Scene.

Excellent point, should have mentioned that in my post. Definitely use the camera to get a good still image and take some video of the still image. This will give better quality than moving video as Steiner pointed out.

Okay I managed to get an image off the Xbox. I wish they just had a screenshot feature like Shogun as talking about... Hopefully sometime soon next here.

    Here is my entry

I look forward to seeing everyone else's submission!

Also, quick question. Are we allowed to enter multiple screenshots in the challenge?

if i send in a picture of my self half naked riding a bike with a helmet on , oh and riding on my own custom track will that get me a paintover.

Remember i want a 12 pack like they did in the film 300 and a tan

joking aside does it have to be your own custom track and can it also be skill games too

    cheers

hey, I succeed to have a decent screenshot, it's the best quality I can have for now... It's from around of takachi.

here is the link : http://www.noelshack.com/2014-48-141...1-takachi2.jpg

I was really impressed by the work of vaidas, it should be cool to see the original screenshot to really appreciate the transformation...
in general, this custom camera is a good tool for people who make videos montages (shogun, you show us a really good example recently)...even if we can see the fake background of our tracks, it doesn't matter...you don't want to see, you don't look, i'm agree with that

I tried taking screenshot of FMX/Skillgame but it doesn't seem to hide the UI properly/fully outside of Trials mode.

I will still try to take a screenshot today or tomorrow.

Are you allowed to post multiple screenshots or only one?

End of the day using the free roam camera to see out of the map is just like going onto a game like call of duty and flying around in free roam to go out of the map and seeing all the non designed parts of the map. People that wanna make good screenshots/videos can work around it, and hopefully maps in the future will be at least designed in a way where there is at least minimal design behind the line etc.
