After installing the driver it doesn't even get to the ubisoft logo it just freezes

Just played for 4 hours on the new driver and can't see any improvements although ACU is playing really well since day one, so its just the same for me.

Holy **** I even got worse performance now, just standing still at the loaded point as always when trying to see my FPS, usually it goes to 45 when standing exactly still, but now it only got to 39!!!!

Same here, and same as reported by numerous other people I have read.

Maybe they are only tweaked for the 900 series. *shrug* What card to you have? I have a 780 GTX.

I downgraded back to the 344.48 ones, and now everything is running smoothly again (on "Very High" settings, all default values).

I didnt measure fps but it feels like its somewhat higher now (I have 980).
