Patch Notes 11/17/14
The first Xbox One patch is live! It contains some important fixes.
- Guitar latency reduced. You should still follow our advice on routing the audio signal, though.
- Sound output settings are now automatically optimized when running RS2014 (your Dolby will be temporarily deactivated).
- Turn it up! Guitars should be louder now with improved gain control.
- Sleepy controllers won’t cause the game to crash. The tuner should work even if the controller is asleep, too.
- The screen will no longer dim when controller sleeps.
- Sometimes after playing several songs, accessing the leaderboards would cause the game to crash. That shouldn’t happen anymore.
- Fixed a crash in Session Mode, and a crash when the Ethernet cable was unplugged.
- Bass songs should now indicate whether they should be played with fingers or a pick.
- If there’s only one arrangement available, you won’t see Bonus Arrangements as an option.
- The analog stick should scroll Score Attack song options properly now.
- Small leveling fix in Gone Wailin’
- Small bug fix in Score Attack specific to La Sera’s “Love That’s Gone”
- Various Other Improvements™
We are aware of an issue with the in-game shop not displaying DLC offerings -- that was unexpected! We're looking into that, but it's a known issue -- don't panic.
Beyond that, your continued feedback is welcome here in the official Xbox One support thread.
