Far Cry 4 won't start - black screen (Windows 7)

I've got a box version of the game. After clicking "Play FC4" in Uplay the game's logo appears for a while, then the screen turns black and nothing happens.
Did anybody else has the same problem? Any solutions?

Good point. Maybe that's the case.

Unplug your Bluetooth or uninstall any non Microsoft gamepad software such as Motionnjoy.

Any USB devices? Unplug them. May have to remove drivers too OR wait until the release and see if still happens.

Remove the Game from the PC... that may work

OK, sorry but couldn't resists, some of the responses here just make no sense... If I need to remove pretty much all of my devices to be able to play a game, well, I just soon better discard that said game LOL I would first blame UBI's Uplay or Servers and not my PC.

Spot on I still hope that that is just the matter of release date.
But I remember that I had similar problem with FC3. I had to open the task manager and shut down one specific process (don't remember which one) every time I started the game. And it wasn't some cracked version - it was box version bought on release date.
    1-0 to the consoles?

Erm, the USB devices are the issue! Worked for me and many others, but you seem to know everything so perhaps were all wrong?.....no didn't think so.
