some strange decisions over at redlynx... just when i thought fusion was kinda on the right track
stuff like this get forced upon ALL players... with sooo many really good ideas from the community you seem to try invent the wheel yet again, and it comes out square shaped?

first a new multiplayer that bury all the good things from evo,
and now a replay that show unfinished and empty parts of a track?

.... i absolutely dont get it

in trials 2 second edition you could watch replay vs replay, where 1 would just be a ghost rider, like normal multiplayer in evolution. that was really awesome.

I'm on the fence about his camera thing... Albeit it's cool to look around Redlynx official tracks (and see how "one-sided-cardboard-cut-out" some of them are I do this style too), I don't know how comfortable I am with people gazing around my track. There is nothing really to see so far, since I didn't exactly put anything behind the blue camera, but it still takes away some of the magic for me, seeing how the tracks look without the creator guiding the camera. I for one am glad it is restricted to just a box around the rider. In this way I got to see a portion of the behind-the-scenes, but not too much. That amount of snooping is fine with me.

On another post I heard someone mention that tool cards should be visible in this free roam mode. Guess it's time I hide all my logic underground, where no one can find it. Going off the grid...

i see something is different how replays are saved in fusion, but dont know what exactly it is. afaik in hd & evo the replays are just the saved controls (?) but whats the difference to replays in fusion? and why is a slowmotion option not possible in fusion? would be nice to know, thanks.
I am not an engineer, so I can't really give details. It has existed at an early point in the dev but the replay system is really fragile and both kept breaking and were really buggy. It's not impossible we find how to make it properly at some point but at the moment, it requires much more time than what we have, so it's not being worked on.

Although we all agree it's a really good feature. But there are a other really good features, so we have to prioritize and take into account the difficulty of each.

This new camera feature should not have been allowed in the in game tracks until the next dlc tracks, it makes all the RL in game tracks look really tacky and just... Not professional at all.

    It's intended. Explained there:

And next DLCs tracks will be built the same way because it's how it should be done.

I'm sure there are a lot of more trivial things that people should be complaining about. the new camera feature allows me to take screenshots of cool parts of my riding from a different angle other than the original.

if you don't want people to see tacky parts outside of your tracks, then put cool stuff outside of it. problem solved, seriously don't lose sleep over it lol
