So I got Unity and spent the last 4 days reading posts about all this crap. Then Ubisoft put out a patch that made my game way more buggy and glitchy. So with that being said and that whole embargo thing that happened even though unity is barly multiplayer which was Ubisofts gimmick. I believe they should start having to refund the consumers money especially since the 2 patch was trash. COOP STILL ISNT WORKING BY THE WAY error code [060000001] or whatever. So after Far Cry 4 I think ill wash my hands of Ubisoft games and make sure to let all my friends know what I think of the company. Unless they fix the issue's before the other 5 Ubisoft titles start rolling out.Or they refund us our money because Unity is just not the product they promised us. Is that false advertising ?![]()

I wanted to get unity but after hearing about OH SO MANY glitches and horror stories about frame rates, I'm holding off, at least until I get far better reports about the game's stability.Originally Posted by xXLO5TXx Go to original post
First week issues? I disagree. Unfinished game issues more like
The issue is this:
Game developers can get away with releasing bugged games. There. I said it.....
There is no excuse for the level of issues and glitches at launch in this game, we are not talking about rare events, EVERYONE on my friends list on Xbone that I have asked who has the game have experienced glitch after glitch after glitch, in single player and issues in multiplayer (when they have got online connections too)
This is not an MMO where Ubisoft cannot predict how mass access will affect servers, this is a mainly single player game with some small scale co-op - easy to playtest in comparison. Im sorry but I refuse to believe that the devs were unaware of frame rate and glitch issues prior to launch, and yet the game launched anyway.
If this was a car there would be a HUGE recall. and yet, in the UK at least you cannot return a game which is riddled with issues because of a loophole in the sale of goods act relating to anything protected by copyright, where you cannot return the item for anything other than a like for like exchange. Because that's gonna solve the problem is it? These measures were taken to stop music/software/film piracy, but it feels to me like a huge get out for games publishers. And I suspect that the UK isn't the only country where this is the case.
For example I bought Trials fusion (another Ubisoft title) when it launched in April, and it states on the box that you have 2-4 player online play. Now, 6 months later STILL NO ONLINE PLAY (and not even vague timescales on online launch). and I still cannot return the game even though it was falsely advertised.
Unfortunately companies like Ubisoft answer to their shareholders, who just want the money from game profits, and so the fact that the law protects them when they release an unfinished game means that they can release an unfinished game.
I agree with Uchidasoldier123 that we probably need to start boycotting companies that do this, but it will only achieve something if a boycott is made in significant numbers, and sadly I don't think that will happen.
An Austrian newspaper stated that Ubisoft is the new EA in terms of frustrating their costumers.
Well, my game is still unpacked at home, because I am on vacation right now. I'm considering returning it to Amazon, when I'm at home again. I already anticipated a disappointment, but this is a real ****storm now.
I'm wondering if there is no quality control at Ubisoft. Is there no one in charge of playing the game entirely on every platform and give proper feedback? Or are the customers the quality controllers? If so, why do we have to pay €/$ 70-80,- for doing your work?
I am actually taking the game back today because of how not only there is no replay value whatsover, but also because even IF there was replay value, you would have to delete your entire saved game file from your system to replay the game.
I didnt get the season pass and i am very glad i didnt. I dont care about alternate storylines unless those storylines either A) have to do with continuing the original story unlike Unity or B) the other storylines give a preview of upcoming games that continue the storyline. But for right now, i have no intention of playing this game any further.
True fan always stand by there thing they love and spin all the issues saying its normal. These companies this gen is out of control...Originally Posted by xXLO5TXx Go to original post
