Thats a pretty $#!+ deal if true. I dunno how you know this, because I don't think it's available right away when you get the season pass is it? So unless you just put in a code and it unlocks from day one I don't know how anyone could know the content is already there... if it is there though, that is fuggin' lame on Ubi. I don't really get all bent out of shape on season passes, pre-order bonuses or micro-transactions, but charging more money for access to things that are on the disc we already paid for is a scumbag move in every respect....
The Valley of the Yetis thing is part of the $30 season pass, so if it's already on the disc they are charging you more for content access on what you've already paid for....Originally Posted by johnlennon696 Go to original post
The way to tell if it's already on the disc unlock or a dlc, look at the data size of the packet. If it's mb, it's already on the disc. If it's gb, it's more than likely not. I think Destiny just did the same thing. Pay to unlock content, not download new and extra content. And I still want the damn MP editor.
I get that, but my point is that I don't think Valley of the Yeti's is even available to download, so there should be no way to find out what size it is. I guess I don't know if that info is available or not. At any rate, yeah, if that $#!+ is already on the disc, scum-bag-move ubisoft....Originally Posted by WhatGrenadeWhere Go to original post
Unfortunately it's typical business by gaming companies to put content on a disc and then force you to pay for it via a DLC. This is why I REFUSE to buy that crappy Season Pass they promote and REFUSE to buy any DLC.
It's a crappy business model but when they can get away with it there isn't much we can do about it.

Yep, all it takes to know for sure is by checking the file size, and we'll know that soon enough. All of the DLC I've gotten so far have been relatively easy, quick downloads, but the content itself has been small. Really, we only got a few missions and a multiplayer mode, which is disappointing. I think the missions were fun, but they were one-time things and went too quick. I was hoping that Valley of the Yetis was to be an expansion to the land itself. I'd rather have more land to sandbox in than missions. I've got 94 hours into Far Cry 4 for $60, so it's pretty logical for me to expect 50 hours more of gameplay for the additional $30. I think I might've gotten 3 hours worth of content so far. Here's to hoping Valley of the Yetis makes it all worth it.
