Escalator / moving animation
Hi guys
I am making a track well its almost done but i wanted to add a moving esculator as the whole track is banged with animation and physics so thought why not add this also. Just having fun with a track and want it to come alive rather then be alseep.
Anyway i have messed around with opes and duplicates of the esculators to try and create that its moving. Unofortunetly i cant seem to either get the right angle on the indevidual objects as they go down. I tried turning off the local but it snaps its miles aways so that doesnt seem to work. Also there doesnt seem to be an indevidual stair but either a set of four or the big whole one and this doesnt help if wanting to get them to gradually become visible as they slide downwards.
Im not sure about putting in my own numbers x y z values i havent a clue which to use and when i set it to the normal local downwards plus angle settings it doesnt actually go in the angle of the stair but more of a downward angle so the esculator just apears to be sinking into the angle rather than a flowing look.
Anyway it might be a math issue and if so then im alittle stuck but have tried to learn this my self but am unable to get to the bottom of this and its annoying me. Not sure i actually want them in the track now but i still wanna do it because i started it
