Hi Guys - It sounds like there was some interesting updates last night on the twitch feed.... since it starts at 1am here I was watching my pillow instead. Can someone let me know when it will be up on twitch or give a summary of what was mentioned.......

Abridged version:

Teams feature is coming next week

• sums team members global scores
• you get a tag and an icon next to your name
• get a separate team leaderboard for in house competition

New Replay Functionality

• can unlock the camera and look around
• quite comprehensive

And the UPlay servers crashed.


Camera functionality is pretty cool. Unfortunately you can turn it around 180 from the driveline and look into the 'foreground' of the track and the theme/immersion is completely gone. I am pleased that the HUD can be turned off for video recording though, should be nice for the youtubers out there.

the video was very unstable and i also think i was getting lag at the same time. Can we have a proper summery of what new things are on the horizon in the few weeks to follow. Could we in future also be notified in here somewhere that important infomation about the game is going out maybe it was given somewhere but i would have watched it if i had known. advertising doesnt seem a big thing around here lol.

The selfie is a cool idea , but this needs to be added to in game like a place to upload your selfies not just in here as the full feature wont be utilised because only a handfull use this forum but that could possibly be change so who knows. As for the this helping builder ? im not sure what advantage could be gained from builders in this matter. No actual logic can be seen and nothing to learn from looking what we hide , but as for a rider point of view then yes i can see that it will be fun to see what people are hiding and will give alittle more fun to secrets. Does this also mean that the same copywright rules dont apply as they are not on the track its self if we say for example Hide a inuendo ( spelt wrong ) , not the builders fault if it falls into the wrong hands muwahahaha

Over all though , nothing new to help builders just new things for riders. Nevermind maybe in the next one

I suppose there is the fatc that new builders can see what objects are being used and how which is one plus.

I dont know too much about all this and hate waiting , do people really hide alot of important things that are that advantagoues to other builders ? , logic yes but will see it might prove a better tool. I personelly havent looked at someone elses track and not known how it was done , not known how the logic worked maybe but as for decor and building cant se how this could help but i am most likely wrong

infact i think my first thoughts were not though out correctly , been thinking and maybe this could possibly help builders maybe quality builders could add explinations in some manner briefly to give reason to certain events behin the seen but this would be seen when moving around . this also could leave the option to have a different dimension to the game , there could also be a different landscape that is hiden within the normal game but when the camera moves you can change the image to suit the selfie..

Think i might have been alittle hasty with my first asumption although this will no doubt make it more work for the clean builder who suffers with ocd lol. They got to tidy everything away neatly. 2 games in one actually looking forward to this now
