Is there any PC review/preview of Far Cry 4?

    Nope -

"The reason why we did not provide review code until now is that there is a title update which won’t be available before Monday prior to launch. However, we will officially communicate on the title update prior the release of the game so consumers are aware."

Yep, if we go by UBI's horror history of their games at launch time, I can already see the bugs and glitches it will have... I can also see the whining of EVERYONE that pre-ordered the game coming to say that they will never purchase another UBI game again... Rinse and Repeat until the next title is launch LOL

Somebody needs to explain to me what is the major difference that an update makes in order not to give your game for a Review? Unless of course the game is broken and they update will fix it. And, if that is the reason, why did they go Gold with a game that is broken?

I actually have a little faith in them in respect to this game. The requirements are much lower than something like Unity and FC3 did not have a lot of issues even at launch so this tells me its probably better performing than Unity right out of the gate. There were some minor glitches and bugs in FC3, but there was nothing game breaking.

That said, the game's reviews so far are very strong, so our only hope is that the PC version is up to snuff. Im not nearly as concerned with it as I was with Unity. Its not as technologically demanding. Cautiously optimistic.

The reviews are strong only becaue ubi had some bulky men in suits and shades standing behind reviewers while they played the game.

That's ridiculous. The FC series has long been strong, going back to the first game. There should be no reason to think these are paid reviews, espc when reviewers were very quick to criticize Unity and Watch Dogs.

Far Cry 2 wants to disagree with you

I never said the reviews were paid, t'was a joke. Eurogamer had to review the game during an event in London, i don't know why they didn't get their own review copy.

Ah, here you go, "global console review event" http://www.pcgamer.com/why-our-far-c...ew-is-delayed/ basically no real reviews.

Where are those so called "Very Strong Reviews"? By whom? some UBI paid website or a real independent site where UBI does not want to send a code for fear of the Truth.

Nobody more than me want to be wrong and see that Finally UBI has put consumer at the top instead of the bottom but history has a way of showing us the truth... you just have to SEE it and not NOT be persuaded by their marketing gimmicks on Non-Gameplay reviews.

if ACU has taught us anything, its not to trust Ubisoft.

I for one will not be buying until i have seen both independent reviews and user reviews.
