What DId you like in AC:Unity so far?

TO THOSE WHO HAVE PROBLEMS RUNNING THE GAME: THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR COMPLAINING

I myself have quite a lot of problems during playing the game ..

    so keeping it aside

TO THOSE WHO ARE STILL PLAYING AND MANAGING TO DEAL WITH IT

How did you like it so far?

What are the interesting points of the game, how does the story progress ? ..

Any new development you seems to be fond of ?

    Personally

    I liked its Parkour

pressing A button to run upward and B to run downward . it really gives a lot of fluidity to mechanics ..

And the story progression . in previous titles .. there are many moments in the story sequences where you kind of feel lame, I tried to show my friend the last gen ac's cutscenes and walkthroughs .. he got tired ... and asked me to close it .. but this one hooked him off ..

Yes,I love the environment as well as the parkour system,it seems to have improved since its predecessors, the random events like tackling thieves and killing criminals was definitely a major plus for me especially since I'm very fond of red dead redemption which did the same thing.

The story so far intrigues me though I don't want to give plot away since there are still those that are playing and no spoilers are desired X3.

edited: Oh and I love solving the murders by far something that i didn't expect to see and it was a great addition.

just a little venting - the game runs really bad on my machine. around 20-30 fps. reason im saying this is because it huts how much i enjoy it.

    \end of vent

what i like about this game is everything they tried to make me like, which is a great achievement - the customization is awesome (just wish i could change the hood to a hat or no hood at all), improved stealth and free running systems is great. they arent perfect but are the best in the series and make stealth a lot more fun for me. actually being able to crouch, take cover, cover stealth killing - all that gives me what the series have been needed for a long time. i play stealth almost like i did in watch dogs.
i'd say i love the graphics but since it's the graphics that cost me so many FPS than i resent it :-P i'd prefer less stunning graphics for additional 10fps.

but , to my shock and awe, the thing i like the most about ACU is, hands down, the combat system. IMO it's the best combat system in a game to date. it's subjective because it's all about what I myself wanted in the combat system and it surprisese me to no end that this system comes from the game series with the WORST combat system there was. AC:BF had the worst combat system i've ever seen. it was a shallow unbalanced mess. ACU's combat is superb. enemies over level 3 are actually a LOT like arno. whatever arno can do the AI can do as well. having enemies that dont obey a predictable pattern is a HUGE change and improvement. since i have %hitty FPS in combat than enemies level 4 and 5 are near impossible for me to beat because its so hard to time the parries but i really appreciate how cool it is that the AI can parry, perfect parry, roll and heavy attack me just like i can do to them. the nice idea that a fighter can only do 3 attacks combo means that even if u dont manage to parry any attack than you will always have a window after the third strike, and on the other hand even enemies that cant block (brutes and low lvl enemies) can counter you after your third attack (if they are alive by then) so you are always on your toes. fighting multiple enemies is hard (not just due to me 20fps experience.... DAMN YOU UBI ARRRRG) but also due to the nice system they have here. i just love roaming the lvl 3 and lvl 4 districts and fighting guys and criminals for fun.

i also like how a lot of missions have these sandbox structure. it's repetitive if you like scripted stuff but i dont. i love doing things MY way and the decision to let players use whatever route and tactic they chose is wonderful.

if ACU performed well technically i'd give it a 9.5 (i am barely half way through the game. im talking mechanics and graphics here. not story or anything). seriously. im loving everything about it. best AC to date.... oh wait. no. it runs like diarrhea... 6.0 for now.... waiting for patch\drivers.

well it seems a nice experience .. the combat system reminds me of ac1 .. i remember when i tried to assault the enemy around a few numbers of guards ... i could not beat them all ... unless i had some advancements ... its pretty kool to listen to bdw .. well i hope you can tell those story driven spoilery material with a spoiler tag ..

I think ACU is an amazing game. I have the southern districts crash issue in Saint-Marcel and Pantheon but other than that I have no complaints. I've always enjoyed the historical narrative in AC games and the recreation of the related environment and ACU does not disappoint. The graphics are excellent and I really like the combat and navigation improvements. I have played every one in the AC series and while I have my favorites, I believe ACU is indeed a leap forward. I regret that so many have issues running the game because of hardware limitations, real or imagined. I do not have them and so my experience with ACU has been great (with the exception of the district access issue mentioned above). So my expectations is high that the Ubisoft team will address these problems although it is never fast enough for most of us.

I love how some classic elements of game play from older AC games are making a return. Things like renovations and earning money through them are nostalgic. The customization is great, it's something I wish AC has had more of, for a very long time now. Also, your gear and skills have direct impact on how you choose to play. Before, in older games, you could just run through a whole bunch of guards without having to worry about getting hit. Now, in ACU, you really have to time your attacks well, get the right gear for certain situations, and work together with others to get objectives done. To sum it up I just feel like ACU brings the depth in gameplay that I've wanted for a while now. Something that is varied in terms of what you can do in a open world, and the things you do don't feel pointless - there are rewards for everything.

So far, not much beside the new free-running system and co-op.

For me the AC series lost the spark at Black Sails, and I was in doubt about buying this one.
On sequence 3 now, and so far I am not sure if I am going to play a lot of this.

Have never liked the multiplayer part of the series, but I can do with the co-op version this game have.
The new free-running system is great, now I do not claim all the walls when running around. Something that have been a pain in the rear when chasing someone or just want to get out of an area fast.

Still to soon for my part to give it a grade or recommendation.
