[QUOTE=Showtime106;10333795]joke of the day.... It's "Unimaginable" That Assassin's Creed Quality Will Ever Drop, Ubisoft Says

    http://www.gamespot.com/articles/its.../1100-6422077/

    ok explain this then

    *video removed due to profanity*

That's a hardware problem. You know what happens when ppl lag while running around online? Same theory. Except here, your PS4's tanking it.

Also, this is PC discussions, get your console consolation in the correct forums first.

Ok so I got my hands on the game ...

Well this is a **** bad dream ...

    MSI GE 70 :
    - GTX 765m 2GB GDDDR5
    - 8GB RAM DDR3
    - i7 4700 MQ at 3,2Ghz

Game completely unplayable even on lowest settings possible, I get 19 fps on lowest in 1080p, 25 fps on 720p resolution with stuttering and drops

Cutscenes are in 12 fps, menu lags as well, spent 5 minutes scrolling down to graphic settings just to make it at least work so I can start the story...

This is a ****ing joke, I can play Watch Dogs - an unoptimized piece of **** at 30 fps on High with some settings on medium in 1080p
I even played the whole Dead Rising 3 which is the most unoptimized game in history on lowest settings
Black Flag on 30-35 FPS no problems whatsoever again high/medium 1080p.

But this ... what in the flying .. I'm sorry for all the swearing but I didn't expect not to be able to run it even on lowest possible... And they want 30€ or more for this piece of **** ? Not even worth to download.... way to ruin the franchise for me thanks.

As poorly optimized as Watch Dogs was, the max amount of npc you see wandering the streets is nowhere near the numbers in Unity. Way less of a load on the gpu and cpu. And most important of all, you're running it on a laptop. Those things are notorius for the lies in their numbers. Consider the CPU and GPU at least 1-2 generations behind from the given numbers. Your GPU is inferior to a GTX 660 and with way worse cooling options. It should be friggin burning your motherboard.

Well I get lower temps on Unity than on Watch Dogs, I have a pretty good cooling anyways, 100% fan option, external cooler, repasted CPU & GPU.

As I said, this game is not a revolution in graphics and I can run other games without a problem even from the AC series so this is nothing but their worst optimization. I know laptops are pretty ****ty for gaming but seeing people with the latest GPUs and powerful rigs are having problems running this, makes me want to puke.

Here's the thing though. People with the latest GPUs aren't having any trouble. Pretty much all the complaints and rage threads around here are from people trying to run max everything on cards lower than a 780 Ti or without sufficient RAM. And most importantly, the game shows its best when its maxed which you obviously haven't seen yet.

Watch Dogs creating higher temps while simultaneously looking worse than Unity is what you call a bad optimization.
