That link shows a stock hit after the terrible launch that was AC:Unity. This is a complete representation of current Ubisoft practices, and how WE, THE FANS, AND CONSUMERS need to stand up against Ubisoft. We DEMAND a better industry than this!
- Lack of communication with community
- Launching buggy and broken games
- Unfair DLC practices
- Terrible PR.
- Lack of Gender Diversity (IE no female Assassins in Unity "for budget" reasons)
- Lack of listening to the community for desired features.
- Broken services like UPlay and Broken PC launches/Patching
SPREAD THIS, and STAND up for a better Ubisoft!!
Keep the thread civil with the discussion though, so it doesn't get locked.
And most important: An excellent list of recent Ubisoft activity that is mistreatment, anti-consumer, condescending, and most of all, not at all caring for the folks that love Ubi franchises:

Although I do agree with your points, as a casual gamer here the things that matter most to me starting from the most important:
- A stable distribution platform offering a pre-load service (I hope the reasons are obvious)
- Not launch a buggy and unoptimised game
- Abolish unfair DLC practices (day 1 content depending on how much money you give them)
Regarding the flow of information & PR (or lack of), I can appreciate how a lack of it could be relatively frustrating, but it doesn't personally bother me.
If I was releasing a game of my own, I too would be very wary about publicly releasing information. If someone were to say something inappropriate for example, it could lead to pre-orders being cancelled and a fresh wave of complaining on the forums. Heaven forbid.
I knew ACU game is going to suck and watch_dogs too, that is why I didn't pre-order. The only game that I like from Ubi is FC series. Hope they don't fook it in FC4!!! Or else it will be time for me to say UBISOFT goodbye...
I really don't understand why is UBI trying to be a gold digger. Like buy the base buggy game, which they haven't even tested properly. Then if you want additions to the game pay double the money or extra. I wanna who is the Project Manager at UBISoft? The person who is coming with these kind of flawless ideas and tryint to burry this company? I think he should be fired. Politically you may be strong dude, but we are public and if unite, your azz will get ignite...
This is straight from my heart UBISoft, get rid of AC series. Its boring now!!! Same **** all the time. Atleast POP was good then AC... I really hope FC4 keeps me entertained. I know yeti's is not there in the base game as per your promise... But still hope its a good gameplay experience for me and not a gold mine for you...

Lol, FC4 will be even worse. It has already been confirmed that the custom maps won't be allowed on multiplayer. And it's also going to have their same old broken p2p servers, when the community has been begging them to put out dedicated servers for the game. Their way of fixing lag on mp is by reducing the player count to 10. lmao. They probably won't care much if the game gets bad reviews now anyway, cos the game has gone gold already. They did the same thing with FC2. Once they sold 1 million copies, they didn't even care to patch the game. The whole game got a grand total of 2 patches !!!! As long as there are morons who keep pre-ordering over-hyped and broken games, companies like ubi won't learn their lesson. I just wish the consumers had an ounce of brain to not pre-order these games without trying them.Originally Posted by CRYPTO196 Go to original postIt's not like there aren't good games out there. If you play on PC, there are way better indie games available on steam and etc for less than 10 bucks !!! For an example, you can get into the beta of this amazing game called nosgoth on steam for 5 bucks !!!! Hell, there are even some really good f2p shooters like tf2, tribes, firefall, blacklight and etc. Yet people keep spending over 60 bucks and even more money on DLC, when these "AAA" games are not even finished on release. People keep repeating the same mistake over and over again, hoping the outcome would be different. This is just insanity. :P
Bad management and people in charge not knowing what they want is what causes the development hell, which in turn leads to frustration in the departments and exhausts the employees- uncertain of what to do. How are you supposed to do something properly if you don't know exactly what your management wants?Originally Posted by chinthu86 Go to original post
I think that's the case with Ubisoft. The ex-employees (and some current ones) tend to say the management is terrible and you have close to no chance of progressing anywhere high up unless you speak French. And obviously in a multinational company with multiple studios located in different countries working on a single project, French shouldn't really be the mainstay language of the management's communications... They're in obvious need of restructuring if they want to stay afloat, but they're afraid of doing that because certain people, good mates with the CEO, are afraid of possibly losing their top positions. (Yves Guillemot probably hasn't actually played anything they've produced post-release... If he were to play a bit of FC3 multiplayer over a non-LAN connection, I bet he'd be deeply disappointed at Massive.)
