Important question for Devs regarding Pumpkin quest! | Forums

Hey guys, if a developer reads this or if anyone knows, please share with me.

I was wondering if I would still get the rest of the time to finish the pumpkin quest if the promotion ends while I still have time left on the quest. Honestly, I just updated today and all of a sudden it's telling me the promo ends in 2 days. Well, I was waiting until Thursday to start the final pumpkin quest as I have weekends off, and I wanted to ensure I could do it. Now I'm in a frenzy spending gems like crazy trying to keep up in case I don't have time. I am planning on literally waking up every 3 hours during the night to do more, but I would love to not have to waste gems, time, and sanity if I will get the extra day after the promo ends.

Any information will help. If I don't get this track I will be very upset. I take Trials pretty seriously.

Cant answer your first question; best guess (hope) is that you will get to finish the 4 parts of the quest you are on.... but very doubtful you will be able to acess any of the remaining pumpkin quests after time expires.

Better wake up every 1.5 hours; 3 hours wont provide any benefit. See this topic:

Its 4 tracks, not 1; there a total of 4 quests to do, and each is much longer than the one before (not really possible in 2 days, IMO).

Oh if I finish this one I have all 4 tracks, this is the last one. That's why I'm fretting about not having enough time!

Also worth noting that even though I have the Platinum Knight outfit, the pumpkin levels still seem to regen at the same rate as before I bought it, which is every 3 hours I will have a full slate again. I might do every 2 just to be safe but I am going to be in zombie mode. I really need that extra day.

PHEW! I did it! With 27 minutes to spare until the promo ends. Wow. I started this 4th and final pumpkin quest with 2 days and 4 hours left on the promo. Woke up every 3 hours during sleep the last 2 nights to clear pumpkins, otherwise played every hour. Had to spend 149 gems total to get 700 extra pumpkins from the wheel. Really came down to the wire.

Now to find out if the game is going to force update when the promo ends or if I wasted the gems for nothing.

WOOHOO!! Any missed tracks are now available on the Loot wheel... I managed to get the last track now.. After playing 3 random tracks the map was available on the loot wheel and I got it first shot!

Glad it worked out for ya, but now I think this raises a whole other issue for RL in the future.... from the other Pumpkin thread:

It would be more unfair to simply give the tracks out after the event, considering all the effort (and gems) that some people are going through to get them. What kind of message would that send? How pissed would those people be? Would people play the next one of these timed events (xmas?) if you knew you didn't have to, and can still get the goodies?

Knowing this, will I work so hard to get the next set? Not sure. Who will?

I will not be buying gems ever again after that even! Knowing this is what happens after all that effort people who didn't even bother get them without effort?!

Went into my game to check if my points have been added to my leaderboard to be presented with a SECRET SAVINGS ( please buy me thing)... You can piss off UBILYNX!

i liked whey they said they had no plans to make the tracks available later when the challenge was still going on to entice people on the fence to suffer through it. I would be pissed if i was justin who spent like 200 gems and woke up every 3 hours befoer he thought he had too.

Yeah I agree that's pretty crappy of them. 3 hours you say very ouch! Good thing to come out of all this is People are much wiser now. Hopefully nobody will fall into their traps again and we really know what their priorities are and it's clearly not US!
