So I just got hit with an 8 hour penalty for no reason! I think it's happening because I'm in spotty reception area?

Red lynx what are you going to do about this? I'm trying to play this game in a hospital and I keep getting bounced between wifi and cell and its making you think I'm cheating!?!?!?

This is very upsetting! I use this game to distract myself while I'm in the hospital or doctors office which is extremely often sadly.

I've had it happen to me as well. Unimpressed with their algorithm (however it works) and am a bit concerned what their next steps will be since every update they have done has gotten more restrictive (ie they try to stop time-cheating which is their right, but every change also finds a way to affect people who are not cheating, like your example).

For what its worth, a "legal" way to skip the penalty is by buying a Tiny Tank (but nothing less expensive).... in my case it was my alternate ID who had a small tank, so I didnt really mind increasing the tank...

I though about buying that tank but then it would make my gem less pumpkin grind seem silly. God can you imagine if this happened to me yesterday before I completed that challenge!

it has never happen to me since the lastest update.

i just got all bikes fully upgrade last week and feel nothing to do now.

if that happens to me, i think it will make me quit the game forever. (or maybe they don't care if a player, who spent no money in the game, will quit or not)

its never happened to me before. it just really sucks because i have no reason to feel like it wont happen again. now im going to be nervous to play in areas with spotty reception.
