Is AC3 very buggy, or is it me? | Forums

I've been playing through all the AC games and I'm playing AC3 for the first time ever and I'm noticing that there are so many ridiculous and irritating bugs in the game. The AI doesn't seem to have much IQ sometimes, and there are graphic glitches every where (my favorite was the carriage following the horses but rolling end over end, and the flying pig...).

Yes, AC3 got almost hilarious ammount of bugs. There is also a guy on YT who made a whole series of clips showcasing them

Yeah. AC3 is the only AC game so far that I felt was incomplete and needed a lot of fine tuning.

It's almost like a beta for Black Flag and perhaps Rogue as well.

I only had a bug on the PS3 version but fine on the PC.

I look forward to finishing AC3, I haven't finished AC4 yet. But I'm glad it's not just me. :P

No, it isn't you, friend. AC3 is more buggy than a decayed carcass. And it probably isn't your hardware either. It plays poorly on ultra high-end systems too. And you can find plenty of posts from PC players who have realized that Ubisoft does not care about PC players. And more bad news: the farther you get into AC3 the more buggy it gets. Sorry.

Not game-breaking? Such as when Connor examines a "clue" and then gets stuck just trembling like he is having a grand mal seizure and he can't move? Just one of many. Some may be funny but most of us are not looking for comedy in these games.

And you can find plenty of posts from PC players who have realized that Ubisoft does not care about PC players. And more bad news: the farther you get into AC3 the more buggy it gets. Sorry.
