I still think that they didn't remove MP map editor. You have no reason to say that and start making a fuss over nothing. All the news regarding MP and ME sound great(except for 5v5).You are hating Ubisoft so much that you would love that they **** up just so you can insult them and talk ****.Wait for the game and see.If I'm wrong I'll admit that Ubisoft is a joke but for now I will support them.

    Restrictions? Name one.
If you're talking about FC3, I had zero issues with the editor. It was better than ever in FC3. The issue lies with the multiplayer in my opinion.

The Editor itself was a restriction if I couldn't even share maps with it IMO. No Vehicles? CHECK. No weapon placement? CHECK. Grid limit? Check.

Removing ability to make multiplayer maps at all is the biggest restriction yet, it goes without saying.

And this is exactly why Ubisoft isn't having a problem with their silence. Complacency.

I've "supported" ubi in the past on multiple occassions, and have been burnt every single time. But you don't have to heed my warning. Some people just need to feel the burn before they know something is hot. And you're right. That IS on you.

Don't get me wrong I still think it's wrong that they are silent about this and I don't support overpriced season passes.Only Ubisoft games I have are Far Cry and Assassin's Creed ones.I enjoyed pretty much all of them, except for Far Cry 2.Far Cry 3 is one of the best games I have ever played and so are some of the Assassin's Creed games.I am pretty sure that Far Cry 4 won't be any different. And I'm not a blind fanboy of these games. If the game is bad I'll be the first one to say it.

Lilli.......love your work man i really do . You and muppet together could go places ( the meek & the mangled) but really ........ farcry 3 no problems plzzzzzzzzz ! I dont have to go thru all the probs with the game , its been covered over & over again and dont get me wrong ,i know its all about the allmighty $ and all off us grownups know the ubi power bill and payrole comes before the small % of players who actuily make mp maps and compete on there maps but (just my thoughts) dont you think buy now if advertized correctly and maintained that the editor/ multiplayer could have stood on its own ? That + a pretty epic campain ? I dont know if you remember 2008- 2011 but when iwanted to play a map edited multiplayer game farcry 2 was where the buzz wuzz !! fc3 came out and every thing fell apart ,call it a pore support system , pore legistics, stupidity but someone went a different way and (just my thoughts) this game should have pulled ahead of every game ever made

This has got to be one of the most passive agressive interviews I've ever seen from a developer, either I'm mistaken orthey are just taunting us at this point. There are some classic lines here.

Can we make multiplayer maps and play said maps with all of those new tools and options? It's all we ask. Cause I'll be honest and be a hypocrite... I'll buy a next gen console soley for this game IF you can do those things. Id sacrifice lobby systems and party joining for a next gen escape editor. If not its back to the White Album that is FC2.

And certainly some others I forgot right now.

Sorry but you're being too kind with them.
You're not helping us (the community), you're not helping Far Cry to keep his Map Editor, and you're not helping yourself at the moment.

It wouldn't be surprising if Ubisoft choose to restrict the new map editor to making SP / Coop only maps and not multiplayer.
Not surprising because this is not the first time they take / make stupid decisions. FC3 should be the best proof of that, for you too.
The editor had vehicles. It had an ammo box. It had placeable weapons. It had lots of AI. It had explosive objects.

I don't think I'm too kind with them, because the editor was great in FC3, so why would I give them **** for it? And the editor in FC4? WAAAY better.

Like I said, to me the issue lies with the MULTIPLAYER.

    M-U-L-T-I-P-L-A-Y-E-R

Which is made by Redstorm, not Montreal. You guys might think I'm biased but I'm not going to be an ******* to someone for doing something they haven't done (which I'm amazed how many are doing). And I'm not going to go full ****** by throwing stones at something I've praised from the beginning.
I've ALWAYS said the editor has been great, and it's had a lot of potential. It's up to the multiplayer to use the potential, not abuse it. This doesn't become less true just because I've talked to them. They know my honesty is the best thing I have to offer and that's what they wanted in the first place.

    [Read above]

Why do you guys complain about the grid limits in FC3 to Ubisoft? The limits are way bigger on PC for the same game so obviously the game is capable??? It just doesn't strike you that the flaw lies with Sony and Microsoft who wont release new consoles for 8 years, so it HAS to be Ubisoft's fault because of.... What exactly? Just the fact that it's fun to throw **** their way these days?

Come ON people!!? I will happily give negative feedback to Ubisoft for what they do wrong, but I won't throw stones at people who have done nothing wrong. And I will certainly not take **** for not doing so... This is more ridiculous than it is frustrating.

Don't take anything I said personally. No offense dude ^^

    Yeah. It did have that.
But we were talking about restrictions on that. (you asked to name one, I / we named a few)
(ammo boxes were useless btw - since you can only use it in the editor and in the editor your ammo are infinte - while we definitely needed them in the multiplayer)

If you have AI, vehicles etc but can not use them and share them, or play them outside of the editor.
You're being restricted to how / when you can use something, that's the exact definiton of insa.. of a restriction.

If you have a map editor but can not make MP maps with it. That's a restriction too.

Sorry for the comparaison... lol but it's like a woman telling you "look at everything I got, and imagine everything you can do with me... *wink wink* " and then she tells you you're not going to do anything with her, and you have to "play solo", because of some stupid reasons (choose your poison).
    Just teasing..
