There's another post earlier asking information about the karma system. Someone posted a video from outsidexbox that mentions some aspects of it but is not very complete. I haven't played a farcry game since 1, but 4 looks interesting to me.
If this karma system going to be a punishment system like in Watchdogs, I have no desire to play this game. In watchdogs, if your karma meter got to low, you would get snitched on when you walked into stores. I can deal with consequences of my actions, but I want to know how this system works.
I understand there are rewards for rescuing hostages and ringing prayer bells, but what happens to me if I spend all my time loading elephants up with c4 or running over snow leopards or executing hostages? Does it affect how people react to me? Do I get evil powers? Or am I just punished?
I really want to play this, but I want to know about this system.

From what I know, You get tokens from karma that you can use to call for help. The higher your karma level, the more NPC's come to your aid. There is also a signature weapon unlocked at karma level 6 i think. If you go around killing innocents, you don't get those benefits. I think you still can buy the tokens at outposts though.
Thanks. Do you know where I can read this information? If it's like this and the option presents itself where I don't have to follow the karma system to get a similar benefit, I'll still get it.
I honestly don't know why I skipped FC2 and 3 when 1 was so awesome to me. I may go back and play them.
