I will give this a try tomorrow and report back. As of now any song that I play has this type of sound when I touch the strings no matter the effect in the song. What is weird is that it started while in the middle of one of the Sum 41 songs and won't stop until I deleted the game/saved file and start fresh. But the sound is still there.Originally Posted by Lord-Flatus Go to original post
I will test this suggestion and let you know. Thanks for the feedback.
I still get it. I can get rid of it for a short while till I actually play the game and the song auto switches the guitar tone/effect. On the amp/tone editor, if I turn down both loudness volumes, it will go away. But it's back after the song switches the effect. It's at its worst on songs by Sum 41 or any heavy distortion. I'm not sure what else to test or do at this point.
I'm having multiple issues with the game, rendering it unplayable
1) Sound intermittently glitching out (a lot... see video -- I played a single note and let it ring out!)
2) Latency which makes playing anything faster than quarter notes on a typical song impossible (I have followed the latency guide and FAQ and done everything except switch to an optical cable. I have no latency issues with any other games.)
3) Repeated messages that my guitar is too quiet (it is turned up all the way, and the guitar itself is a flawless, new American Telecaster)
Please help! Thanks.
UPDATE: I've thoroughly tested the cable on my Mac as a guitar recording interface, and there's <10ms latency and no garbling or any other issues at all with the cable itself.
Recently, I purchased, downloaded, and installed 8 DLC songs via the Playstation store and the in-game shop. None of them appear in the game. I have tried several different fixes several times. I have restarted my PS4, deleted and reinstalled the application and the DLC, put my PS4 into safety mode and restored my database, and restored licenses. None of these have succeeded in making the songs appear in-game. I noticed that all of this problem persists for all songs that I purchase right now. Thus, I can only come to the conclusion that at some point, for whatever reason, something disallowed any future purchases to show up in-game. I am essentially unable to purchase any more DLC until this problem is fixed.
Hello,
Im running the PS4 version of rocksmith, and have had it since the day of the re-release. Since i added some DLC packs i cannot play more than one song (Non-DLC or DLC) without the entire game freezing while loading the second song. It starts by showing the DLC games as unavailable then freezes trying to pick any other song. I then have to fully exit the game and restart.
Is there a patch coming soon? I have officially spent more time watching the loading screen for the game then i have playing any songs.
I have the disc version of the game.
Please help.
