according to the "helpful" US PS Store Chat person we should expect some more legacy DLC next Tuesday and "she" said that the delay in release is basically Ubisoft's fault. They can only release what they are given. Which I don't believe is true.Originally Posted by jromeo288 Go to original post
Please make sure keep checking back here as Dan is updating it regularly.

Will all the existing DLC be available for download on the new systems on day one?
Unfortunately no. We expect the legacy DLC will become available over the first month or so after release, in batches. The timing really depends how quickly on the individual platform holders can add it to their digital storefronts. We've given them a lot of content to publish, so we understand that it will take some time. We have recommended that the most recent DLC be posted first, then move chronologically backwards. So if you are waiting for RS1 content, that will likely appear last.
PS4: Sony is posting DLC in reverse chronological order, in batches, so you should see content in both the Songs and Packs sections of the in-game Shope. So far, the last two months or so of DLC are available. We expect the rest of the DLC to appear in similar batches over the next several weeks. The import tool is not yet available.
In Star Chords, sometimes when C#m comes up, every ship after that will also be C#m until a turret ship comes along, which somehow breaks the chain. It's only happened to me with C#m.
Correction, also happened with G and then after the turret ship, Bbm in the same run, lol. I scored 70 million points on that one.
I can't see any of my PS4 stats on Rocksmith.com, also. And the banner doesn't update for me.
I understand that to reduce lag i need to get sound signal from my ps4 straight to my speakers, but I have Harman Kardon soundsticks as my speakers. They are pretty good but only have a 3.5 mm Input so regular toslink-cable wouldn't do the trick. I don't know much about these issues, would someone be able to help me to buy the right kind of cable or to do whatever i have to do in order to reduce lag. Thanks!
You probably don't need to change anything. You can go into the game's options and under visual or audio settings will be display lag correction. by default, it's set to 50, try turning it up to 100 and see if it's better. If you want to know the exact amount of lag you have, Sing Star is a free game on PS4 store that's for karaoke and I'm told there is a lag tester in the game. Anyhow, if you adjust the lag correction properly, you shouldn't notice any lag at all.Originally Posted by kalloska Go to original post
Thanks that helps to some extent. I'm able to hit notes easier but my there's still the lag between when i strum and when the actual sound comes from my speakers. Would some sort of Digital-to-Analog Converter help?Originally Posted by xXCreepyB4byXx Go to original post
As the FAQ notes, all these tracks are not available yet, as Sony is adding the material in reverse chronological order. That is, the most recent two or three months of content is available now; more will be added this week, and more the week after, each back going further back in time. So the RS1 content will be among the last content added.Originally Posted by Drunkbiker Go to original post
This is overtly stated in the FAQ: "So if you are waiting for RS1 content, that will likely appear last."

I know there is not a lot of DLC available on PS4 yet, but how are people getting along with the re-downloading of previous purchases? Can anyone report back on whether they were able to get previously purchased PS3 DLC on their PS4 for recent stuff like Audioslave, Duran Duran, Killers, or other tracks from the last few months?

Certainly. Every song that I've owned minus Jesse's girl has appeared as free in the PSN and in game store.
I posted a list of Europe DLC in the main section. Our store is a hodgepodge of new and old DLC in no particular order.
On an aside. It 'seems' that the note detection is a bit more unforgiving and unresponsive on many of the barre chords, brutally so in Castle of the Chordead. This could very well be that my strings are heavily worn. I've also experienced my guitar registers as the volume is really low when everything is maxed out. Since no one else has mentioned it I thought I'd test my 'string theory' as it were![]()
