That was pre-release stuff that everyone was complaining about. Microsoft went back on that along with digital rights. You do not need a connection to use the XBONE. You probably don't need Uplay either. You do need one if you want updates, patches, and DLC.Originally Posted by Ghost_Fart Go to original post
Lol so you need one then hahahaOriginally Posted by BELLROY Go to original post
Same deal with any console or PC. But say you are military or something like that, you want to be able to play without a connection. I spent many months playing XBOX 360 in my bunk on a submarine.Originally Posted by Funkinhouser Go to original post
Hey thanks for the responses guys. To confirm BELLROY indeed my Xbox 1 does not need an internet connection to run or play the games I have purchased so far for it. I have heard however of some games requiring a constant connection to the internet even though they have solo single player campaigns. I'm not knocking it, but if the game required it, that would be a deal breaker for me as within 10 days I'm moving and will no longer have my own internet.
I don't think I've heard anything about a companion app for FC4... whats the story with that?Originally Posted by Mr_Shade Go to original post
Will I be able to to enjoy the online experience like MP and Co-Op if I started the game as "Start [offline]"? Perhaps within the menu I can change something that will let me play online?
I would rather NOT start the game all over as I am already a couple hours into the game.
