    Finish doesn't work

    Hi All,

Today I started to work on a track and My God......I have so many questions that I hardly know where to start...lolol
So...let's start with the most urgent one.

I have created a track and had placed several CP's to get the driveline.
While I was building I took away several of them becaue I noticed that the track would become too long and did the following:
I started at the latest CP and took it away and continue doing this untill I reached the CP that I would like to use as a finish.
When I tested the track, the finish didn't work but the driver went further on, fell and (the most worrying part..lol.....the time went on instead of stopping.

    What's happening here?
    Greetzzz,
    Frances

Make sure you delete all checkpoints you don't want, and move the special finish checkpoint.

If you shorten a track by removing some spline points, the checkpoints themself do not move.

A checkpoint takes into account anything between the 2 white dotted lines that come out of it, and sometimes it can mean you could skip a finish line by driving under or over the area, so you gotta position the checkpoints carefully, and block off paths that allow rider to skip the finish..

Also make sure you don't have a normal checkpoint right before the finish but where you can't reach the finish anymore.

Use the object finder to find the "Goal Point" which is the finish checkpoint.

Finish is at the green arrow, wrong finish are marked by the 2 red X (top and bottom paths) , as well as the bottom checkpoint is wrongly placed cause you couldnt reach the finish from there.

A quick mash-up of a correct finish blocking off the top and bottom paths, and an optional fail area for the jump gap.

    Thanks for this good explanation!
Leaves with one question: Looking at those screenshots, they show the finish. How can I make this visible for myself on the PS4?

    Hi fran

just to add if you dont mind teri , its good to remember that the start and finish checkpoints are different than others. They have 3 lights and if you place a checkpoint past the finishline checkpoint , that should turn into 3 light one and reset the old finish to a 1 single light checkpoint.

hope you didnt mind me adding something dude
