    Far Cry 4 MP Images

The images says Brick Factory so that could be the name of one of the MP Maps maybe.

Join the Struggle for Kyrat in Far Cry 4's All-New PVP Mode

In “Battles of Kyrat”, the Far Cry 4 world is shown in a completely different way. The player’s battles take on the form of a re-telling of a long-past war that Pagan Min’s elite guard, the Rakshasa, fought against the Golden Path rebellion. Each faction has their own unique set of weapons and skills and players will have to adapt to their strengths and weaknesses while making their own progress within this multiplayer mode.

The Rakshasa are the mythical warriors of Kyrat with strong ties to their natural surroundings. They can call upon animals to help in both defending and attacking positions. The Rakshasa only use traditional weapons, specifically the bow, but are capable of crafting multiple alterations to their weapons. On the other hand, the Golden Path is all about its arsenal: guns, vehicles and tech-enhanced capabilities. They have access to a variety of weapon types, including assault rifles, shotguns, and multiple explosives. Finally, the Golden Path has access to bell towers, allowing them to spot the hidden enemy from far away.

    The PvP mode consists of

    • 5v5 round-based matches.

    • Asymmetrical gameplay where the players take on each faction. The team with the best overall performance on both wins the match.

    • 20 minutes average match length.

    • 10 maps at launch.

    • 3 modes:

    - Outpost - the Golden Path works to establish an outpost in the region while the Rakshasa has to get rid of them and secure the outpost for Pagan Min.

    - Propaganda - the Golden Path has to destroy three Pagan Min installations while the Rakshasa protects them.

    - Demon Mask - both sides have to find the mask and return it to their home base.

I like what I see so far and am going to judge this from playing the various modes and maps over a prolonged time, really looking forward to it as well.

Yeah I seem to remember that with FC3 CHAMP was an unpaid community mod or something like that. Considering that CHAMP is a very skilled map maker I'm having a really hard time actually believing CHAMP thinks MP looks good which certainly lends credibility to the theory that money has exchanged hands. If CHAMP really does think that MP looks good that's certainly fine. He'll be the king of the map making crop because all the other map makers will be long gone.

Seriously guys what planet are you on - ow are you taking some of those mushrooms from the Dr in FC3

Yeah I did a bit of moderating on the forums here with FC3 but they soon kicked me into touch and got rid of me once I started complaining about the MP in Far Cry 3
I was one of a bunch of Moderators at fcmaps.net (over the years there have been quite a few - all decent people) We got the site ready and FC3 came and the site was dead within a month, didn't help that me and the other Admin didn't agree on some things but even if we hadn't fallen out the site would have still died.

So we have Far Cry 4 almost released, we don't know what we are going to get, can we or can't we make MP Maps ?
Is the asymmetrical PVP modes just for the Ubi maps and do we get something different for our User made maps ?
5v5 I guess is bad for the majority - for me I like smaller close quarters maps or ones with vehicular action, I can handle 10 players in a match but am concerned at some of the things so far - need more info.

If this Golden Path team are the only ones who can use vehicles what happens to the Rakshasa elephants when killed, do they respawn because if they don't then that team is handicapped without the elephant as a vehicle.
Are the Rakshasa the only ones who can use the wingsuit in MP?
I hated the bow and arrow in FC3 MP - Too difficult to use so I didn't use it very often, I will struggle using that unless they have made some changes.

So don't go pointing the finger at me guys - pushing the hate just because I don't mind the MP modes they have added - I hate TDM I don't mind admitting that but I played a lot of Solo DM on FCIP and FC2 and love that mode.

I got invited to Malmo with FC3 and thought the MP was ok over there although I am not a fan of team support / healing downed players / battle cries or perks, It seemed ok but the most we ever played with was 6 players, Who would ask if there were player lobbies - you automatically assume they will come with the game as they were in all the other Far Cry games (except the ****ty one on the Wii)

I never received a penny from Ubi except them paying my expenses to go to Malmo and giving me some merchandise and a copy of the game on PS3 and 360 which was nice of them.

So don't go assuming things please - I am just a sad bastard who likes using the editor and likes to make some fun maps and have a good time if possible - My map making is very average compared to the Heavyweights of the Far Cry games - my maps are more about run and gun and ease of movement around the map - I like a high kill count.
I have tried to make some escape maps - had a lot of fun with those on FC2

I am just a fan - who uses up free time on my days off looking for info on the game and who has a wife that gives me grief if I play too much Far Cry

Recently the guys at Battlemap let me help out with the Far Cry side of the site, we had a load of plans but already we are having to scale back because we just don't know what FC4 is going to bring to the table.

Check out the Far Cry HUB which we are working on ready for FC4

    Battlemap Far Cry HUB

As we know that we can make single player mission style maps we already have a Contest which we are planning for that, and we will be pushing Twitch TV and Yahoo Videos - checking out other peoples maps and hopefully enjoying the game as much as possible.

If you guys think I am one of these who just says everything is wonderful and agrees with anything said then you are wrong.

    http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...r-Cry-3-Editor

Take a read of that link above, I am all for the Far Cry games been the most amazing games possible but sometimes you shout and no one listens.

Honestly I hope FC4 MP works and is fun, hope we get some other modes and can make our own maps but whatever we get I will try and use the tools to do the best I can and enjoy the game - so make your own mind up after playing it that's what I say.

Good luck with that day 1 dlc. lmao Multiplayer be a ghost town after a week. Ubisoft is the new EA. Cutting corners to save a buck and crap on the customers.
Shut up before I say something that will get me banned for good.
First of all, Champ, Lost Soldier and a very few others are the ones who kept this forum alive, while guys as yourself show by the game's release and start discussing.
If you don't believe me, check the earlier pages. This forum would be a dead without guys like Champ and a few others.

Second, you have no right to claim that someones is on payroll or not. You don't like the multiplayer, that's your problem.
To me it looks good. Not great, but it looks better than FC3 or FC2 multiplayer. After all this is a SP focused game.

He'll be the king of the map making crop because all the other map makers will be long gone.
Map makers will never disappear. This is my map from FC2. I started by the end of 2011 and every once in a while I updated it. Not done updating it yet.

    This is how it started

And this is what it turned into

Yet this isn't one of the finest version.
Conclusion, map making never gets old.

    @Champ:
    Thanks for posting these images.
About the outpost mode, is that something like Domination or Battlefield Conquest mode, where you capture diffrent locations on the map or is it just one outpost?

Hey Champ (and others), long time no see. So here we go again, eh? After the soul-shattering disappointment of FarCry 3's multiplayer (I blamed it on the outsourcing), I inevitably got excited when I heard they were bringing the ol' gal back again. But then I saw the unveiling of the new modes today, and... Well me and my buddy Toastman shared a telepathic *sigh* and texted each other almost at the exact same time to complain about it. Don't get me wrong. I think it's fine for what it is, but what it's not is what really worries me. My fingers are crossed and will remain so until release day, but I would really love to sit down with one of the developers and ask them all sorts of questions like "Why?" and "Why?" and even "Why?"

Anyway, I've got FarCry on the brain and the nostalgia injection is just starting to kick in, so I'll be around. Here's a link to some of my work, for those of you wondering why I care: http://fcmaps.net/maps/Anemeros

Outpost, where each team rushes to establish a command point - That looks like Domination from FC3 - That type of mode. I paused the video and there is more than one, an indicator said 162m so My guess is that we will get 3 to attack / defend.

I am interested in the Blink Arrows also - wonder how that works, do we shoot an arrow and where it lands that is where we can disappear and re-appear at maybe ?

there is also OVERRUN mode NightGhost1994 - Overrun – Team up as Rakshasa or Golden Path in this PvP mode and control a series of neutral locations across Kyrat’s countryside to protect them from being overrun by your opponents.
It'S DLC and comes with the Season Pass or a purchase from either the Ubi Uplay Store or PSN / XBL I believe, I don't think it's out at launch that mode but might be wrong.

Oh Man it is a long time, How is T0ast and are you still in contact with Sugarm0mma, Maxprey, Clay, Puppet and the other old GD Crew ?
We will have to catch up sometime but I opted for the PS4 and most people went with the XB1

I jumped over to battlemap.net - those guys are looking after me over there and we are working on a Far Cry Hub but it's difficult because the info coming out for the game is still very limited.

I didn't even finish my first FC3 map after the slap in the face that was the multiplayer lobby "system".

The editor in this game is going to be amazing. They always improve on the previous iteration. But the MP choices are consistently failing. They can be different and still keep the classic staples of any FPS.

My desire to purchase the FC series has always been hinged on the Map Editor and the MP feature list. No point in making maps if the features are TERRIBAD. I know I wont be buying this until my fears are put to rest (Standard modes with symmetrical FFA and TDM modes. Both teams use the same pool of gear, etc..oh and the Editor works in MP)

On the other hand, the MCC collection has come out of nowhere with a revamped Forge with logic and scripting!!!! About time somebody got it into their heads that their playerbase can comprehend this stuff. We haven't had anything similar since Timesplitters.

Toast and I still game often on various platforms. I talk to Max occasionally but only on the PC or on Skype like when we're playing Diablo 3 or arguing about Nintendo. He's still on the old gen but last I heard he might get an X1. Not talked to Sugar in a long time but I know she's doing well. As far as Clay and Stubborn Puppet... No clue.
