Still sounds doable without gems (assuming 6-8 hours of sleep and playing every 1.5 hours).

It'd be unfair to people if you couldn't get the tracks after the Halloween update ends. That'd be missing up to 3.5 million points if you haven't unlocked any of them.

that gives me hope. im around 1300 and 24 hours now. still havent spent a gem yet either.

It would be more unfair to simply give the tracks out after the event, considering all the effort (and gems) that some people are going through to get them. What kind of message would that send? How pissed would those people be? Would people play the next one of these timed events (xmas?) if you knew you didn't have to, and can still get the goodies?

I suspect the tracks will be available eventually, but not without either a lot of time waiting (weeks? months?) or a steep gem cost per track, IMO. Something that's painful enough that next time you might consider playing the event as the preferred route. Because RL does want you to play the event....

while i think its horrible they would do something to permanently affect the leaderboard thats only available a limited time it would be foolish for them to just give them away for free later.

perhaps the challenges will remain once the over all event is over but the special prizes, other than the tracks, wont be available.

"For now, we don't have any plans of re-introducing this into the game in near future."

personally i think if they dont reintroduce those maps later on they are really hurting this game for people that play for leadboard position. i know those people arent the ones they are making the most money off so there is no need to cater to them but it really puts a pock mark on the trials series.

Well. I've done all four pumpkin missions and he still keeps appearing and disappearing out the saloon. Just done a 125mb update today on Android and all I can notice so far is a banner when you first start the game saying wrath of the pumpkin king and it telling you what is on offer if you complete the missions in time etc. I have done all four so hope I'm not missing anything by ignoring him in the saloon

When you say you did 4 missions... have you received 4 new tracks/maps to play? Because if you do not have 4 maps, you should not be ignoring him.
