I have to say I'm taking a break after this event. I'm stubborn so I've continued through and am going to complete it, but not happy about it at all. This is bad enough to make me not even want to come back to play the game. Hopefully we will not see events of this nature in the future.

yeah i agree about this challenge making you not want to play at all. I havent bothered to start the 3rd one but for some reason i decided to start the 1st challenge on my android account and regretted it immediately. its just not fun. im so mad thinking that i am ruining my leaderboard position but oh well.

I don't think so; my alt ID has only 62 tank, and it gets 10 20 40 100 too. And even if you wait for many hours the number of pumpkin tracks stops growing right around 50-60 fuel required no matter how high your tank is...so your tank size really doesn't aid you a lot for this. And there really aren't too many pumpkin tracks possible... I get the same three tier3 tracks, and the same 10-15 tier1/tier2 tracks over and over....I have never seen 100 either. Definitely part of the 10/25/40/60 club. Does it maybe have something to do with fuel tank size? Bigger the tank, more tier 3 tracks, and more pumpkins? I only have a size 65 tank.

I wonder if you only see the 100 pumpkins if you get silver or better on a track. Now that I said that, I don't think it's true but I'll leave it to be proven right or wrong.
I am at 2306/2600 for 3/4 of the final quest (I assume 4/4 is the race), with 20 hours left. I think I've got it! I spent about a hundred gems on respins, which probably weren't necessary. Oh well, better safe than sorry.

That's my favorite section. I get the top ones first, then reverse and drop back wards into the bottom section, I always land upside down but you can just go through the whole section on your back and then flip around again at the next section. Has anyone else noticed that Crane Peak has a pumpkin in the fire under the 6th checkpoint? I'm pretty sure it's impossible to get, unless you can smash it just before you hit the checkpoint above, but I doubt it's doable

I noticed that and actually spent some time jumping down there to try to break it. Unfortunately it seems impossible to even break it as the death barrier is before it. Quick update for me, I just had a 367 point round! I only spent gems on one race (7 gems) and that's because it met my "gem critieria" (a race where I got gold and had 60 pumpkin patch available). Still, quite a round for me! That put me at 2338 / 2600 with 12:40 left. I'm on the homeward stretch!

Just started last night the last mission. It started straight from 2/4 (1600 pumpkins) and now 1177/1600 done, and 55:41 left on the clock.
Hopefully I manage to get this in time, I don't like the idea of one missing map... :/

You're lucky you got the skip. I'd had Missions 1 and 2 skip 1/4. I would have much rather had Mission 4 skip 1/4!

Just under 28hrs left on the clock, 1653 pumpkins left to smash, no gems left at all and I just had my one and only 100 pumpkin slot of this whole event appear on the loot whee...and I missed it.
Ha ha.
