I was with your post until that last paragraph. It's hard to vote with your wallet when you're just jumping in head first and buying it, without knowing if it's as bad as FC3 or not.Originally Posted by LTC-Hellfighter Go to original post
I think I was unclear or you misunderstood, but with the game is still 3 weeks away, no one has to make a "vote" just yet. There is still plenty of time for the PR machine to catch up with our questions. As i stated earlier, Misty already said MP info is due out this week. I suspect that ME info wont be far behind. And worse case, people wait until after the release when they can probably demo it at the local game stop.Originally Posted by legacyzero Go to original post
I don't understand why this post is even here, I know people can be harsh on the Community Managers and Developers, but we see this sort of post on a monthly basis.
People will never stop blaming the Dev's and Community Moderators, but it's because they cannot put the blame to other representatives of the company as they are not on these forums.
Also I agree it is not their fault in regards to the lack of info being shared. It's the people in Suit and Ties who make those decisions.
However, people do have a right to complain on the forums, that's one of the reasons the forums are here, as it is used for ANY discussion on the Franchise, if people hate the Lobby System, then they can express their feelings about it on here, if there were no forums, they'd feel isolated and would know that the company doesn't care for the game (but that is not the case)
I have said it countless times, the developers DO care about the product they make, and they want to be proud to say they worked on the game.. The Decisions that are made up in the ranks are the people you need to be worried about in terms of the way the systems work.
I do hope the Lobby System has had a huge revamp, it needs to be somewhat like Far Cry 2 to work correctly in terms of hosting your own maps and setting up PLAYLISTS.
When I went to play with the editor I did not get to see any of the MP lobbies, I asked a couple of times but they still said no, it's all because they are not allowed to yet. Even though we signed an NDA. That is why Ubi are so good at keeping games from being leaked, their staff don't take any risks that could make them lose their job. I Like this, but it would have been nice to put my mind at ease.
Fallen.Ninja, even though I believe you mean't well by starting this topic, it has unfortunately turned into mostly negative comments and discussions.
Thank you to those positive comments and reasonable discussion posts. However, I will be closing this thread now to prevent further flaming. Thank you.
