This week on the Uplay Recommended feed we have a nice selection of community creations plus a bonus track from your friendly neighborhood Community Developer Shogun. Let’s not waste any more time with this intro stuff, its time to take a look at this week’s Uplay Recommended tracks!
Nihilum by Hes92
October’s featured creator on PS4 Hes92 has been wowing us with visual treats on Track Central since Trials Fusion launched. Nihilum was created for a challenge presented on our weekly Editor Stream. This track is the definition of short and sweet. A quick fun run through a stylized world with great atmospheric sounds and a mysterious creature lurking in the shadows. Check it out now on Track Central or grab a sneak peak with Hes92’s video.
Landfill Technology by xXRajadoXx
The landfill is a popular location for Trialists to ride but xXRajadoXx’s Landfill Technology is more than just a collection of junk. This dome covered track takes you through a challenging collection of obstacles in a garbage processing facility of the future. Hope you are practiced up because it will take some skill to throw your rider into this junk pile. Play it now or watch it on video.
Dust ‘n’ Rust by argo1mk
Speedrunners start your engines! Dust ‘n Rust is a fast flowing line through a ruined facility in Trials Fusion’s Rustlands. This may be a full throttle thrill ride but argo1mk has made sure your reflexes will be put to the test if you want to hit that perfect line. Race on the Rust now on Track Central or check out a preview video from Infamous Shot.
EXOLIGHT Concept by S1LVA CONCEPT
Speaking of fast tracks next let’s take a look at EXOLIGHT Concepts by S1LVA CONCEPT. Yet another great creator(s?) coming out of the French Trials community, S1LVA CONCEPT has been treating Xbox 360 players with a plethora of fun creations. EXOLIGHT Concepts has a high speed driving line situated in an abstract world. Fire up your Roach and burn rubber now on Track Central or have a peak at this video.
Fiechta do Brazil by LORDS of FtRING
LORDS of FtRING (FtRING = Featuring) is a team of French builders who first joined forces on Trials Evolution. They are all talented builders on their own but with their powers combined they’ve been able to create some of the most impressive creations to hit Track Central. Fiechta do Brazil lives up to the high expectations one would expect from a Trials building supergroup. Brazil comes to life in this incredible track that takes you from the favelas of Rio De Jeneiro to the fields of last summer’s World Cup. Hit the track to get a top time but I also suggest doing a run slowly to see every little detail. Play it now or watch xLOW DiG1TaL’s video, but really play it now!
MyTrack by CannibalShogun
Finally this week we have a bonus track from Redlynx Community Developer & Trials Live host Shogun (that’s me). MyTrack was meant to be an exercise on basic track creation while having a little fun in the editor. Initially the track was not meant as much more than a joke but a lively competition popped up on Twitter and showed the track was more than just a foolish name. We decided to let everyone in on the fun started by @deano_ramsay on Twitter.
Play it now or view this preview video.

PS: Perceptive people may realize that I am not the Shogun. This would probably cause them to wonder why a post by Shifty says Shogun at the end... What's up with that? Well, reasons. Basically, Mr. The Shogun wrote the piece, but I posted it. That's about it.
I am confused and i did write out a rant but i cant be bothered anymore im loosing interest in this game , more each day
Can i ask though would it be possible for the advice given to us new builders to be true ( on true or false lol ) it would be good to get true advice in how to build tracks> i have heard multiple times shogun advising not to do this and that also advice which alost seem it was set in stone but its not. Its confusing to your players. I'm done with all this silliness
People give advice for track building one minute then change it the next , i guess there is no advice and its all about your own likes which is cool but the people should not give the wrong advice.
I wouldn't be worried about uplay picks. They may yield another 500 likes or so. It's nothing to get worked over. In a few months, who knows what downloads will be down to.Originally Posted by funktastic- Go to original post
As far as the driveline where you just hold the gas. I'm not sure which track that would be, but there are 2 I ran where I could do this on. This in no way makes it a bad track, but maybe a dull driveline. Redlynx is HUGE on decor...did I say HUGE...yes. Driveline is quite important...but many times I've seen picks with rough lines get a pick and the decor was impressive. Almost never, does a track with just a good driveline get picked. I would assume...so this is not a fact, that it's about 80% decor, 10% driveline, 10% if they know/like you.
Feel free to add me on your friend list. I'd like to run some of your tracks. VEGASTRASH01 - PS4.
You seem to have a drive to build, which is great. Don't let some picks that actually mean nothing get in the way of your creativity and growth as an unpaid level designer. Keep in mind, it's just a few chums out of thousands who say what is/isn't a good track for the Uplay feed.
To me, in Evo, the picks overall were much stronger...which is odd. I wonder if it's the same people picking tracks. I think maybe Shogun picked more Evo tracks and Shifty has the ball on this one...but that's just a guess...certainly not factual....not one bit. It's just my opinion on the matter.
I really enjoyed Exolight and the Fiechta tracks most. Exolight has a nice style to the design with a fast speed line. It's a builder I haven't come across yet. Fiechta was very well filled out in decor, but there were a few points I would have liked to see changed. A few blocked cameras, one going into the building...the other dropping through the panels.
Custom cameras are always a major issue for me. Changing perspective at times is necessary, but really hurts the gameplay. The fewer cameras, the better. Their last track was great, as well. Those builders are most impressive and I've enjoyed just about every track they've put up...together and separately...so thanks.
cheers vagas i shall do but my tracks aren't very good yet , but i want to get better its just seems that its so much hard work and looking for help or advice , things seem more political then it appears on that matter. I deleted post because just felt like i was hitting me head against a brick wall also because i didnt want to come across lke i was moaning im just confused with the whole thing. still like building and will do just not going to do it my way like i intended to. Yeah will add ya bud just dont expect alot from my tracks lol i class them as experiments lol and learning curves.![]()
MyTrack? ... seriously?? i dont know what to say about that.the track was meant to be a joke, ok why not. but to port a joke on crossplatform is not funny anymore.
maybe i should rush out some low quality tracks, might be a good way to get on the uplay recommended feed, eh? nothing against you shogun, but wtf?
there are many customs where the builders spend weeks / months of hard work and got some awesome results in the end! do you guys even read the suggestion list? or remember this one?
Track: Antarctia
Creator: Kush Land 604
Date: 2014-06-12

this track should be on uplad recommended since Drop #12 in august, you guys picked the wrong track (twice) and never fixed that. high quality tracks like this deserved to go crossplatform and not MyTrack jokes, come on!
maybe, but doesnt matter who picked itOriginally Posted by VEGASTRASH Go to original post
