Nice stuff there. Thanks!
Picture #4:
I couldn't help but smile when I noticed "SPEED CONTROL" written on the vehicle.
I love it when videogames show attention to detail and this one in particular really shows that the developers did their homework and that their research trip really was a research trip and not just some vacation.
These sort of nonsensical English writings on vehicles are extremely common in Nepal and India and "SPEED CONTROL" is one of the most common.
Besides that, the most common ones that I saw when I was in Nepal, out of the top of my head, are:
ROAD KING
ROAD STAR
NO TIME FOR LOVE
LCD COACH (it did not have an LCD, as you might have guessed)
DVD COACH (also no DVD)
PARTY COACH
HORN PLEASE (I don't know why they ask for the driver behind to horn. You don't need to ask. They already use the horn all the bloody time!)
WAIT FOR SIGNAL
MANCHESTER UNITED F.C.
CHELSEA F.C.
REAL MADRID C. F.
METALLICA
And many, many others. They write whatever they want. And the same goes for the gaudy decoration both on the outside and on the inside of the vehicles, especially in trucks and buses. That's another nice detail that Far Cry 4 also got right, along with the Indian Bollywood-style music blasting on the radio.
I'll definitely be on the lookout for these little things when I'm playing the game.
Can't wait.![]()
