So if for instance, you overwrite your save by starting on a new device... is there any way to restore purchases such as pro player bundle or all star paint job to the new save?

I think.
Download iExplorer to read your device (iphone, ipod, ipad). And save a player.bin Trials Frontier folder. Then it will suffice if you installed the game on another device and then you insert player.bin on your new device.
