I clearly didn't say my words correctly. All I meant is that I am willing to wait, no matter how long the wait is. When I said soon enough, I meant if it came one day in the future. Sorry for the misinterpretation.

BUT. Don't let the fact you can't test tracks with people be the reason you're un-inspired. You can still make what ever you want without the feedback (I will explain this) and I agree that the objects on fusion are not as easy to be inspired than evo.

Okay, this is why to everybody (the builders)... Yes it was easier to build on evo because the objects was more diverse. It is set in an era we live in which is pretty easy to think of realistic scenarios. you can make most things in the era we are in, that was a common thing for evo, it's a generic view but very true. Also the fact that (to me) 90% of the themed tracks on evo were destroyed tracks gave evo a pretty distinctive theme of being a game where making destroyed tracks was the normal theme.

Fusion is not evo! . It's trials, but it is not evolution. That is the game before fusion, the new concept to fusion is futuristic, the objects given are futuristic,(not destroyed places like evo) if you want to make tracks... you are given futuristic objects and objects that fit this game, the idea is you make tracks with pieces given and make something cool. Not everyone is as experienced in building on trials as some but by no means should we not try to help them to get better, but it is still not evolution. This is fusion. Build what you can with the objects given... please don't use objects from a previous game as an excuse for losing creativeness. Use everything you are given to an advantage, not a disappointment.

This is my PO. Don't use wood as an excuse for having no inspiration on this game. Trials evolution is very much still available on the xbox live marketplace.
First of all, i loved evo's editor and I love as well fusion editor...no MP? ok we can wait...but if I can be honest, this futuristic style was not the good way to keep us buildings tracks...It help to sell quickly many games to a huge amount of young people but not to keep the builders on a long period on this editor...it's too much difficult to be creative, that's for sure... evo was freedom, you wanna do something?? do it, Past present future, america, africa asia, in space, underwater or abstract things....everything... there was a large panel on redlynx tracks and TC tracks...now it's not freedom, it's so hard to go outside the step.. As you said DJ, build what you can with the objects given...I personnally tried it, and I think I had show that it is possible... but i realise that i'm always trying to put the game back in the present. Wood is a symbolic question about how this new futuristic style push us to go in one and only one way...

and yes, i miss wood... cause it's the future there is no wood? There are trees, plenty of trees in the landscape...no one is able to cut one and made a plank in this future? I can't understand this

I still building on this editor... I love this game, I owe redlynx a lot from this xboxone i'm playing now to this real passion i have for game and level designing or all the good people i have met on the community or in real life in Boston and i am so thankfull for that...but I can understand why so many people left the boat... and I can understand kid saying that... It's not a lack of inspiration, it's a lack of freedom

Nothing against you DJ, but i never said my opinion about all of this and reading this thread push me to be brutally honest...

its not an excuse . is just that pretty much every single builder on this game misses it and keeps asking for it time after time . its not a crime were only human . and just omitting it and saying its the future is fair comment that we have come to accept .but imagine if it was in the game and the amount of people it would please and keep happy building . and the more diverse ok evo like tracks that it would bring . but same again is that such a bad thing . nope . yes evo is stil on 360 but im on next gen . . and this is the current trials game . .anyway its just my 2 cents . xxxx

    Very well said DragonMicky!

We have the best editor, more complexity than ever and hardware that can handle more than before yet piece selection that limits creativity. It's not just the future theme that is holding things back, it's the poor selection of pieces. Many pieces are useless for riding on, there are not enough size variations (things are either too big or too small), colouration options are a major step backwards from Evo and then we have dlc pieces that don't fit well with other pieces in the game.

Nothing personal against anyone here or at RL, just don't understand trying to justify things that are just poorly done.

    p.s nice track drop.

    Hello,

Going to go against the flow here. :-)

You can state whatever you want about what you think of the pieces and the DLCs (that's your opinion, can't be discussed). But for me, the truth is in Track Central (not in the posts on the forum) and we can find a high variety of themes and tracks in TC. Between words and facts, facts always win. But it's probably easier to blame things you're not responsible for (choices of pieces) rather than your own creativity. Also, I recognize complaining about "it was better before" is part of the culture on this forum.

Creativity is about constraints and finding innovating ways to use things. Creativity has never been about freedom.

Also: "I can't do that and I could do it with Evo objects".
What about: "I can do that and I couldn't do it with Evo objects".

And I am quite surprised actually by Dragonmicky's post because he proved he could do different themes and be creative... so it's hard to explain as words and facts don't align :-)

    Cheers,

So, there is a new "attack agenda" on the builders who for one reason or another aren't happy with the editor objects in Fusion?

2witchy did it and now En0.

Darn you folks for not being creative enough!!!!

Gawww, outside of the massive 6-10 tracks they release per DLC what keeps the game going? Certainly not user-created content.

I find it fascinating how when a few highly regarded builders complain it is their fault because they aren't "creative" enough. D2, DragonMicky and kidmpc need to learn to be more creative.

You hacks!! Get with the program!

Sheesh, the nerve of some people who keep the game moving between the massive DLC's and they think their opinion should matter???

It disgusts me! Personally, I don't play user tracks. They are unoriginal and without creativity.

REALLY??????????????? If ONLY I could swear on the Ubi forums, I'd blast you folks in the proper manner. Sadly, I can only use sarcasm.

Nicholas nobody is attacking anybody. Just bring it down a notch. We can disagree and voice our opinion without attacking somebody who disagrees, that's how opinions work. The point both 2witchy and En0 were making is that Evo was just as restrictive in it's selection of objects just in a different way and people have shown that they can be very creative with the new objects in Fusion. I for one agree, for every complaint that the objects restrict creativity there are multiple amazing tracks on track central that prove otherwise (you only need to look in this feed on TC to see some). Nobody accused DragonMICKY or kid m p c of not being creative enough, in fact I would quickly point to those builders as examples of great creativity in our forum. The point made was that creativity is not dictated by what objects you have but how you use them.

To D2, Dragon & kid, I respect your opinions but I also respectfully disagree. Building in Fusion may be different, being creative in Fusion may be different but with an editor as powerful as Fusion's the possibilities for creativity are almost endless. When Evo came out we had to adjust from building in HD as it was very different. Much more so than the differences between Evo & Fusion. We had to adjust and once we did awesome things happened. We all got very comfortable in Evo, now we are adjusting to Fusion. You yourselves have shown the potential for creativity in Fusion and have created tracks that in my opinion are better than anything done in Evo. To me that is the opposite of an indication that creativity is restricted.
