Open Uplay, click play, black screen, windows message me that trials will be closed. That's it. At least if it opens black screen, then it is actually tried to launch and could write dump file so I've attached one.
Tried to verify files, disable all background software with no luck.
Help will be much appreciated as I just bought deluxe pack and can't get it to run. Kudos

Trials Evo works like a charm, only Fusion crashes.
p.s.: By the way tech support is enough incompetent to offer me awesome solution of reinstalling the game and installing visual C and Net frameworks distributives (of obsolete versions by the way which can't be even installed - template copy-pasting at it's finest). I wonder why they didn't ask me to reboot PC or my network router.
Thanks, this kind of attitude brings a tear to my eye (no sarcasm).Originally Posted by BenShermanUbi Go to original post
Yeap, always. Right after install.
By the way I tried to download the game at my work PC and it works flawlessly with basically the same software setup and different hardware config.
I tried to put fullscreen in config xml to both true and false with no luck. Tried to install newest drivers for my gfx card with no luck too.
The thing is I'm on my leave (that's why I bought some games to play). I won't be able to use my work PC till november. I'll send you Dxdiag if I get a chance before.Originally Posted by BenShermanUbi Go to original post
Though I'm pretty sure that my work PC doesn't have any dedicated gfx card, it's some A6 series APU from AMD. Our PC are something like year old, so based on how late hardware comes to our country it should be Trinity architecture based. A6-5400K I think. So it's something like HD7xxx series videocard built into core alongside piledriver cpu unit.
And I'm pretty sure it's on F2A85-V or M motherboard by ASUS or something similar.
Do you think I should try to write AMD about the issue? I can't know whether everyone is affected or just me. Is there any reports of incompatibilities with last catalyst drivers?
It's Sapphire R9 270X 4Gb GDDR5.Originally Posted by BenShermanUbi Go to original post
That's the only game I have issue with (and I have quite a library around thousand of games on steam). More over - Trials Evo works like a charm.
Hi ccoma,
Our team tried o reproduce your issue with the same PC configuration as yours. But unfortunately with no luck.
So on their opinion it could be one of two things:
- either a software incompatibility of some sort (maybe a Windows reinstall is required); Reinstalling the title won’t help if something went wrong with his operating system (registry corruption, damaged .dll files, etc)
- something is wrong with his GPU (although it’s highly unlikely, he does indeed use a custom graphics card with 4GB which does have some improvements over the reference design in terms of voltage regulation and increased frequencies for both GPU and memory).
Regards,
Yeap, it's great piece of hardware, allowed me to run everything with no issues. Thanks for effort, nothing new here.Originally Posted by BenShermanUbi Go to original post
Okay, I might give reinstalling windows a shot a bit later (as the last resort). I think I'll make a clean install on formatted logical drive and check if it helps. If not I think I'll try to shot email to AMD.
Thank you.
You know what.
Today I came from long 12 hour shift (Russia is hardcore) and saw a pop-up of a dozen of windows updates. All labeled important. As always I've pressed download and install everything (updating is important thing).
Restarted.
For some reason I had an urge to check if Trials Fusion works. Miracles happen, you know, I got lucky bus ticket on my way home, so in spite of work issues I was in great mood.
Sorry, I've got dragged off.
So I started Trials Fusion expecting nothing, surfing reddit on my phone. And then I heard Ubi logo jingle. What. It actually motherhumping launched! And it works like a charm on ultra settings.
I dunno if I should believe in fortune or in god now. Or in Microsoft.
I dunno which of this extremely important security updates fixed the game, I will never find out.
Now we can both sleep well at night. Thanks, Ben, you've been with me through this mess.
