UBISOFT RELEASES FAR CRY 4 WEAPONS TRAILER: ARMS PROVIDED BY A NEW AND INTRIGUING CHARACTER
Ubisoft today released a new trailer featuring the weapons of Far Cry 4. Get an in-depth look at the all-new arsenal of weapons that will be at your disposal in Far Cry 4. Rain fire on your enemies with destructive mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns, or take a stealth approach with auto crossbows and Kukri knives.
This impressive arsenal of weaponry will be supplied to the player by a new and intriguing character. Longinus admits to being a former warlord, and that he found God when he nearly died during a civil war in his country. After traveling with various religious missionary expeditions, he has followed a trail to the Himalayas and finds himself in Kyrat, caught up in another civil war that looks all too familiar. Longinus may have changed, but that doesn’t mean the lion has become the lamb. He’s willing to sell guns and supplies to the sheep while advocating that they fight for their freedom, because he knows from experience that warlords don’t simply go away…
With Far Cry 4 players will experience the most expansive and immersive Far Cry ever, in an entirely new, massive open-world. Players will find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape. Developed by Ubisoft Montréal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios, Far Cry 4 will be available worldwide on November 18 for PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

Hey xRadRoacHx, we'll have more information to share soon relating to the game. I understand you want to know as much as possible and your patience is really appreciated.Originally Posted by xRaDRoacHx Go to original post
It's great that we've turned the corner into October and new video assets are creeping out. Keep up the pace now Ubi. This looks good, energetic too. I hope we get an IGN First treatment or equivalent soon, doing walkthroughs of the multiplayer maps and introducing some starting tips for the level editor.. that should all be happening NOW. Need to get the wider audience aware and prepared. It's a huge selling point. I have a lot of faith riding on the excellent folks at Red Storm who I've had the privilege to meet. Can they make a Far Cry multiplayer that sticks? I need proof after Massive's attempt. Full gameplay.. not explosive trailers that leave out weak hit response, shallow feeling gunplay, dated network code..
Well Alex Hutchinson tweeted this below.Originally Posted by Lipcancerchimp Go to original post

So I followed up with.
Is the FC4 melee a fist or knife or both?
Answer.
Both! Depends on angle: kukri for straight ahead and up, kick for down.![]()
Well so many saying that the Weapons in FC3 are the same as FC4 - Sure it appears that a lot are but there are some good ones coming back from FC2 also.
I could be wrong as I often used the same weapons a lot but I don't remember seeing any of those above in FC3 so it is not just the Harpoon Gun and Crossbow which are new.
