    Trials Live Editor Stream Homework: Shogun's Branching Drive Line Challenge

    Hi all,

    For those of you who watched last Tuesday's editor stream apologies for the late arrival of this thread.

    It's here, the second Trials Live Editor Stream homework assignment. The challenge this time is to use the new branching drive line feature to create an obstacle or skill game concept. There will be a prize but the prize will be a surprise. In my mind this is a creative exercise so the real reward is developing your creativity. You're all winners just for giving it a try. Because this post came late and the update has not yet released on Xbox 360 I will extend the deadline for this assignment to Monday October 6th.

    A few notes about the challenge:

    #1 - I can't stress this enough: This does not need to be a final polished track. Just a single obstacle or small section for trials tracks or a proof of concept for a skill game. By all means if you have a great idea you can develop it further but this isn't a track building challenge, it's just meant to exercise your creativity and see what cool ideas people can come up with using this new feature.

    #2 - You do not need to upload the track if you don't want an unfinished track on Track Central. If a video is enough to show what you've done it's enough for this challenge. If you would like to make your creation playable but still don't want an unfinished track in your feed I would be willing to remove the track for you once the challenge is complete. If you would like the track removed be sure to tag the name with WIP (work in progress) and message me after the challenge to remove the track.

    #3 - Have fun. As mentioned before this isn't a competition, it's just a creative exercise. Don't stress it if you don't have enough time, are short on ideas or your idea doesn't pan out as expected. You're a winner just for trying something new.

    Not sure if i should post it here so its fine to be deleted if incorrect ,

    Im sure there will be better ideas but gave me chance to have a play with the new event and stuff cheers

    I have a cool idea but is the update out for 360 yet? Kinda sucks issuing a challenge while not everyone can participate :/

    I uploaded my entry on PC track central. track is called split decision. Two separate drive lines that merge together at the end of the track.

    I made a track with a branching line in, without saw this thread before.
    If you wanna check the track, the name is Volceige (on ps4). It's a beginner track.

    ps: play the track with the panda or the foxboat :troll:

    seems like the required update is still not out on xbox 360 (?)
    to give those builders also a fair chance to participate on the challenge, would it be ok for them to write here on the forums what they WOULD do?
