    Uplay Anti Cheat

    Dear Ubisoft,
I'm having enough about seeing cheaters in any game... and probably your other customers think the same about it.
Valve has VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat), why don't you make a similiar system?
Reporting cheaters to the support is a joke, and it's even more a joke when the support doesn't ban them... Even if they will ban the cheaters, the ban won't stop them, because they can find another way to play the game (someone told me that you banned some players, but somehow they managed to change name and to play online again)
    Please think about it.

I'm sorry that you feel the support team don't take adequate action against potential cheaters, but if you contact them they will take appropriate action in-line with our policies based on the evidence acquired.

With regards to forum moderation, if a post is unhelpful and destructive it may be removed. We aim to keep the forum's tone positive, even when discussing things like complaints or disappointments. There are ways to express negative views without resorting to a combative/destructive tone. I don't know the text of the post that you're referring to, but if you PM it to me I can look it over.

Ubisoft Support DOESN'T CARE about cheaters, it's so difficult to understand? THEY DON'T CARE and you can't really come here and say the opposite.. Ubi policies is to take money for a game and then 0 support!

I don't work directly for the Ubisoft Support team, so I can't comment on what their policies say, but any action they take should be in line with the company policies for that situation. Whether the support agent cares or not about cheaters is irrelevant, they will take action in accordance with the policies. As long as your report includes appropriate evidence of cheating, I am certain that the necessary steps will be taken by the support agent.

That's simply not true. If it were then Ubisoft Support wouldn't exist.

Used the support once. Looked like i got automated replies and that they did not even bother to read my problems. Got the same ctrl C+V answers over and over again, which were not related to my problem. It is very inpersonal and they managed to not answer a single question. Even the one were i asked why they posted the same reply twice got ignored. Thats very inpersonal and i got the feeling that they dont even care.

In the end i just gave up and decided to play another game.

Contacting support was a wast of time for me.

I'm sorry to hear that your experience with support wasn't a good one. If you find that the support team don't provide an acceptable level of service, please let us know; we want to provide the best service possible and situations like yours are ones we want to avoid. In situations where that service does not live up to your expectations, the forum managers can contact the support team to find out the details of conversations you've had with support and help you get the service you deserve. In some cases this may mean that nothing changes, because some issues may not have an immediate solution, but if the issue was the result of a mistake or lack of oversight on behalf of the support team, it can be corrected.

For your information, the forum managers are: Ubi-Mush, Mr_Shade and Volfbane

    Hello xRaDRoacHx,

Absolutely, I read it and I understood it. However, as it is the Ubisoft support team that handles any and all sanctions against accounts rather than the forum moderation team, and as it's possible individual games may have different rule sets, I can't really give you a great deal of information on the way suspensions or bans are handled.

In general I personally am not a big fan of automated systems applying permanent bans, but I am a strong proponent of fair play. If there is evidence of cheating, let the support team know and they will take appropriate action.
