I just submitted a ticket to tech support but wanted to know if anyone else is running into issues on this.
I've got a custom PC, intil i5 quad-core, 8GB DDR3, NVidia Gforce 620, and run a lot of modern, video processor hungry games on high resolution with no problem. But This game runs less than 2 FPS on low resolution. Even the intro crawls at 1/4 speed (compared to a capture on Youtube), and i eventually have to just skip it.
I normally have all my Steam games run off my 2nd hard drive, but I've tried both drives for this game with no change.
The download got both update patches.
Just got Blood Dragon through uPlay and have the exact same issue.
i5 4670k, 8GB DDR3 and a R9 290 crawling at one frame a second.
It loaded in after installing the first patch and was chugging away.
Quit, restarted and it installed the second patch, but that was no better.
Takes almost 4 mins to load into the main menu.
Also just a thought guys - maybe a silly one..
If the motherboard has a built in GPU - some have a low level intel GPU - it's possible the game is trying to use that one - so please check the GPU control panel is using the dedicated card for the game.
We see this issue in laptops from time to time, due to them also having two.
