Is there something wrong with checkpoint coin accumulation?
If you pass a checkpoint/end goal before the previous checkpoint's coin counter can finish, the counter is stopped and you collect less coins than if you were to move through both checkpoints slower. Is this a bug or is it intentional?

Oh, didn't notice that...
Sometimes i have done restart once before goal to get more coins. Didn't know before why i got more, but this might be the explanation for it.

When I run Pipe Basin with Coin Doublers and having The Goon outfit, I get 671 when running through it fast and getting under 20.500 everytime, if I stop after every checkpoint and wait for the coins to go into the thing up top fully I get around 787 coins at the end, but with a Bronze, therefore getting the x1000, x5000, x10000, x20000 in the Loot Wheel is non-existant since I didn't get a Platinum/Gold.
They need to fix this, or have a fixed amount per track(ie. in Evo. Fusion) instead of this stupid mechanic.

First off I would like to make note of the fact that the Goon outfit bonus and coin doublers are nice, and the increase in coins from playing tracks from barely above nothing to slightly less than a tiny bit is still appreciated. That said, the mechanic by which coins are collected when playing the tracks is flawed, and these recent updates have exacerbated it to frustrating levels. To the best of my knowledge, this is how it works:
1. Coins pop out of a checkpoint as you go past.
2. Coins fly expand out, then fly to the coin icon (purse) up at the top of the screen.
3. If the coins go too far off screen, they will be lost, and will not make it to your purse.
4. If you activate another checkpoint generating more coins before all the old coins have made it to the purse, the old coins will not apply to purse and are lost.
5. If you finish a track before coins make it to the purse, those coins will be lost (prime example of this is Desert Gondola - if you do the ending right, you will not get any coins AT ALL for the last checkpoint)
These factors mean that we are stuck with two choices: go slow and collect all the coins (painfully slow I might add), or play the game as intended and have your rewards significantly reduced. Using a coin doubler and the goon outfit, the difference between running a track fast and slow (depending on the track of course) will be between 50 and 250 coins. Multiply this by 15-30 times through a track when I want to drain my tank, and I'm losing 1500 to 3500 coins just by going fast. That sucks. I want to play fast. The point of Trials is to GO FAST! This needs to be fixed.

I think they fixed this. I was just getting a consistent 384 on Ghost Town regardless of how quickly I passed the checkpoints. Thanks, devs!
