Dear RedLynx I have no idea how to put this nicely, but il try my best.
Why dont we get any background info on whats going on and the progress of trials updates/dlc's or whatever u are planning with it?
The game is full of glitches and bugs after almost 5 months (exclusive PC beta)
The pit viper:
-----------------
1 = to slippery
2 = to bouncy
3 = the backtire fender is 95% in the way
pit viper should be an extreme bike, but also for ninja's, fender grab slips way to much
Maybe thats why ninja's are not promoted by this game. (players love them)
The editor:
--------------
If i point my crosshair over an event i want to select, i select another object. (unless im almost inside the event i want to select)
And no...there is not one single object in the way
The customers service (investers)
---------------------------------------------
We always ask 1000's of times, what is the progress on the incomming updates/DLC's and yes Multiplayer
What the hell is wrong with you, keeping us from information about progress of whatever you are doing?
Why cant we get 1 single answer on wtf is going on with multiplayer and WHY it isnt released yet
What is the REAL reason Multiplayer hasnt been added yet, 5 months have passed and no MP (while it is promised when u buy this game)
Me and a bunch of friends love this game, and want to play it as promised.
So...isnt it the time, to inform us....WHY the multiplayer isnt there yet?
And dont come with, *we are working hard on it). c'mon.. its like hearing soon(tm)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So...all we ask is for info....yes..i know it has been written 100000 times on the forums. but i just ask again
Not just me,,,a bunch of friends asking the same thing
so...if you are a dev or community manager and you read this (and im sure you wil)
Give us some background info on whats going on at RedLynx on what they are doing on trials fusion.
thank you.
P.s
1 week forum maintenance and its worse then ever.
The Pit Viper is not the Phoenix. It's the Pit Viper. It handles the way that was decided upon after testing. If you are waiting for this to be changed, you're likely in for a MASSIVE wait. Changing any little thing on any of the bikes will be the same as throwing out everyone's times with the bike, and that's not going to happen.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
Yeah, we've noticed this as well. Sometimes you have to get super close to an object/tile before it is correctly highlighted.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
Just because people ask a million times doesn't mean that we can answer. We post up patch notes and feature updates when they are finalized, and not before. That's just how it is. Is this going to make people happy? No, but it keeps us from saying "Such and Such will be in the next update..... Oh wait, no it isn't" and people getting very upset.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
If you don't like the answer we can give, then I won't say it. But there's nothing else to tell right now.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
Forum maintenance had nothing to do with RedLynx, or this section of the forums.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
True story. Select a page and you have to wait about 20 seconds for the page to load, This may be just my computer? Probably not though. Accessing your profile results in a circle, searching, but not loading the profile. It's not ideal, but not sure if I fancy another week of maintenance.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
Any chance of the Phoenix being available in a future DLC?![]()
To correct: we do know the state of MP, but we just cannot share the information with you yet. This is how it is right now.Originally Posted by Smilies2013 Go to original post
We haven't said anything about not releasing the MP. Such features simply take a long time to develop and polish. Please be patient.Originally Posted by Crazyeagle567 Go to original post

Fusion is a game where filler content and features that are "good enough" seem to take precedence over content with real substance. Finely honed gameplay mechanics, that are transparent to the user are a thing of the past. We have challenges instead of more tracks and a glitch prone main bike made for accessibility instead of technical Trials. Then there's the editor pieces with pieces that are either too big, useless for driving line or don't have enough variations to be useful (eg. ruin pieces). Let's not even mention Track Central and the feeds that have never worked right since day one.
Despite all that the game isn't terrible and is still alot of fun, it's a just severely missed opportunity. This could have been the greatest Trials game ever made, but with a core this flawed the game will never reach that greatness no matter how many DLCs and features are added. I can only hope the next game in however many years delivers. No pre-ordering next time, i'll try before I buy. That being said if it does deliver I will buy it for every available platform and shout it from the rooftops.
Time once again for my uneducated guesses! yay.
Whenever something cool shows up in the gaming world, copycats start pumping out clones to cash in. All the Minecraft, Flappy Bird and dirt bike mobile games for example. Once any ideas about MP are made public, ready or not, the clones will incorporate them, and at least one will declare they did it first. As for bugs and fixes, let's look at Evo's MP.
x The player can get stuck in an 'Unable/waiting to join' screen in which there are only two ways out: Accepting another invite, or returning to Dashboard. Methods of getting here include joining straight from the title screen after starting trials, and starting a game before everyone has loaded the Lobby.
x Sometimes if the playlist consists of 2 different worlds, the objects will load but the world will not, leaving the player stranded at the bottom or top of the map, with no obstacles or even a finish line!
x In order to join a custom track, you have to either host it or receive an invite. In the days of FarCry: Instincts, players could host their map in a list, and others would simply join of their choosing.
x Matchmaking leaves players spread out among the 4 different categories, then either gives them a 'corrupt settings file' or drops them once the game has started.
You don't want junk like this happening again so testing, testing, testing!
Will the lobby system of yester-year be included? Will players have a chance of becoming stuck in a MP 'void'? Will the new MP lobby resemble a 3D VRML chat room where riders can walk around and click on Ubisoft and pit-stick advertisements while awaiting their turn to ride? Only time will tell @_@
