Can I make an earth shatteringly brilliant idea here ?

I don't have one, but I want to know if it would be ok if I did.

    ba-dah-dump

Well I do have an idea, a lot of Rocksmith potential is unused because you terrific note trackers are only human.
There is only so much music you can process.

So you have to be fairly picky.

There are a LOT of other types of music that have little chance to make it here, not your fault because you can only do so much.

country, jazz R+B classical, movie themes ect... the nitch stuff

ok, how to fix this without resorting to cloning ?

make the tools to create Rocksmith song files available to artists whom can prove they own the rights to a musical piece of work they want
    to sell as DLC.

They do the work, send it to you guys for a quick copyright proof check, and a quick QA check, then they can list it for sale on xbox live/steam/PS3 download site.

You guys get a small portion of sales. based on how much work you need to do to get it ready.

nitch artists and independent producers rejoice ! you can be on Rocksmith

A system similar to how aps are sold.

    Just an idea

Great idea! It also reminds me of what Rockband did with the Rockband Network. I believe it could work here as well if the interest is out there. Unfortunately, most of the stuff on the Rockband Network was Metal. There wasn't much variation in genres.

Problem is they still need to get everything approved by artists and record companies. If it was a faster process and the approvals were coming faster they'd probably just get more guys and girls on the note tracker team. I doubt it's difficult to find musicians who also dig video games in San Fran.
