Uplay Games Won't Launch / Start

I went to play WatchDogs this week but it was not starting up, when I clicked the play button nothing would happen, I thought it was an issue with the game so I reinstalled it but the issue persisted, I then tried some of my other Ubisoft games such as Far Cry Blood Dragon, Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Ghost Recon Future Soldier and had the exact same issues. My steam games work perfectly fine, but the steam games that use Uplay DRM won't start.

This is starting to get frustrating as I have searching online and trying various methods but nothing is working:

    -Repairing Game(s)
    -Reinstalling Game(s)
    -Reinstalling Uplay
    -Restarting PC
    -Using Offline Mode
    -Launching Games through Uplay First
    -Disabling Anti-Virus
    -Changing Ant-Virus
    -Uninstalling Anti-Virus
    -Updating Windows
    -Opting In/Out of Steam Beta

    My Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
    Radeon HD 7950 3GB
    AMD FX-8350 4GHz
    Gigabyte GA-990FXA-D3 Motherboard
    Corsiar Vengance8GB DDR3 RAM
Western Digital Caviar Green 2TB HDD
    AMD Catalyst 14.7 Drivers

    Hello Mastermind51,

Thanks for contacting us. When you try to launch the games, does Uplay start to load? What happens if you launch Uplay itself? Have you tried running Uplay as administrator?
This post by another user may help if it's an issue with the rights being given to the Uplay client.

While you're looking into the matter, I'd suggest you "Ask a question" of the Ubisoft support team. You can always edit or close it later, but it takes up to two working days for the support team to reply to questions submitted by webform, so submitting it earlier rather than later is best. You can contact them through our ticket system's webform found by clicking on "My questions" on this page: https://support.ubi.com and then clicking "Ask a Question"
Alternatively, if you would like to contact support by phone you can find the contact number for your regional support team here: http://www.ubi.com/US/Support/InternationalSupport.aspx

Ah why didn't I think of that? Doing the reverse actually fixed it, for some reason UbisoftGameLauncher and UbisoftGameLauncher64 were set to run as administrator by default, un-ticking this solved the issue thanks.

    The Launch Needs Priority Fixes

Click Play on Steam, it auto-logs me in to Uplay, says that it failed to synchronize my achievements. Not a big deal, skip that. Moving on to loading up the Uplay process, how it does, and before the game even begins to show signs of life "Watch_Dogs Has Stopped Working" message popups..... I got this today... 40$.... Please let it not be a waste, I love this game.

    Hello EthernereGames,

Thank you for contacting us with your issue. As your issue is with Watch_Dogs rather than specifically with Uplay, I've moved your other thread to the Watch_Dogs forum, so hopefully someone there will be able to help you.
