Hi Forum,
I have a ridiculously annoying issue with Revelations Multiplayer. Firstly it says 'server is down' half the time so can't get on. But when I do it never remembers what I have done previously, as in checking all the weapons etc that I've opened up and I have exclamation marks all over the place. The bigger problem is that although I can get into sessions, as soon as the session completes, before my score comes up I get the 'you came/your team came' then nothing, it just continues playing the music and showing my character, then fades to white says "Leaving Sessions" then goes to the 'Ubisoft servers are down' screen and back to the main disc menu, Its infuriating as I have gone back to this to get achievements and can't even finish a single session. I've opened all the correct ports on my router and use a static i.p. for my xbox connected via ethernet. I cannot figure out what's causing this.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Kind regards,
PhoraWild
Hey PhoraWild, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing some frustration with multiplayer. Make sure you've tried the steps in this FAQ. Feel free to contact support directly using the link in my signature if you need further help. Thanks!
So I've tried all the steps in the faq (i had already opened all those ports except one of them), still no luck. I resorted to putting xBox in DMZ, still no luck. Then YES I finished a session. No idea how this happened, as nothing had changed since it was not working. Then I started thinking, oh, I've just renewed my xBox Live membership the night before, maybe that was making it not work and now it is. But, today I started a session, got to the end and same thing as before, no score, 'info:leaving session', 'ubi server unavailable' kicked to main disc menu. I'm really not sure what could be causing this, I have no issue with other games.
I am also experiencing this exact problem for the past week or so; the first 1 or 2 games complete successfully, but then the rest of the games end prematurely at the final score screen, with the server unavailable error.
Going from past experience, it looks like the ACR servers need to be rebooted. I've submitted a online support request asking for this, but I'm not that hopeful about this getting sorted out soon...
