    Gems spent since last update?

Those of us with foresight were busily squirrelling away as many gems as we could in anticipation of the next update. I myself had over 540 when the update dropped. Those with patience will have kept from spending unnecessarily on loot wheel respins but the unavoidable cost of the outfits and their "powers" was probably too much to withstand. Some of us made accidental purchases before the cost was reduced fully. Some of us may have been willing to spend hundreds of gems intentionally.

I have all the new courses and every clothing item bar The Priest and The Cyborg helmets.

I would estimate that I earned another 100 gems while playing through the content and another 40 after my accidental purchase of The Priest jacket so I could afford The Goon helmet after I unlocked it. So far I would guess that I've used around 700 gems since the last update and I still need another 130 for the last two clothing items!

90 gems for the Hardcore Track Pack looks like a bargain now! Doubt they'll do that type of deal again!

I earned all my gems in game. I still haven't spent a single penny.

How many gems have you used since the last update?

Gem Usage to get all the Loot Wheel tracks...

Started at 243. Lowest point...around 90. Gems picked up while getting tracks; around 50 (loot wheel grinding). So total cost for me... around 203 gems.

With 12 loot wheel tracks, that puts my average gem cost per track around 17. I know for a fact one track took me about 40....and I got at least two tracks on first spin. I decided beforehand that I would pay whatever it took when the track showed up until I reached 50 gems total (never did).

I have not paid for any costumes yet, but I will start getting SOME of them piece by piece once I hit 150 gems (I am at 127). Most costumes dont have much meaning for me now that I have maxed out everything and upgraded all bikes, so I'll only get a few. (Money and upgrade parts have ZERO meaning for me any more). After I get what I want, I am upping my gems in reserve to 200...(used to do 100 but it looks like costs have gone up)

Total cost of all 7 costumes is around 480. I'll only be getting ones that increase my gem/fuel production or will help get Loot Wheel Tracks in the future. In order:
Priest...60 gems... +1 gems on Loot Wheel
Cyberpunk...90 gems....20% slow cooldown reduction (slight chance of more gems, good for future slot tracks)
Platinum Knight...30 gems... reduce fuel 33%
Enforcer...60 gems...section growth on Loot Wheel (for future Loot Wheel tracks)

Honest... once I hit 200 gems I will be completely ready for the next release. . .and I will stop playing. At around 30-50 gems a day when I push it...thats maybe a week more left for me.

90 gems for the Hardcore Track Pack looks like a bargain now! Doubt they'll do that type of deal again!
With issues like the Fire Oasis track occurring, I wonder if they will just start offering each track for XX gems as a "fast path" in addition to earning them in random games of chance. I confess that after 3 releases of waiting, I would now pay 100 gems for Fire Oasis simply to circumvent their frigging bug.
Some of us made accidental purchases
I got burned once last release on this. Never again. . .I am now VERY careful on those screens.

I spent about 300 gems, including 90 accidentally spent on Enforcer hat (grrrr), and concious purchase of platinum knight costume, so for the trakcs themselves I've spent around 150. I had over 350 saved before the update. Also never spent one cent on the game so far. I was thinking about getting the latest bundle for 7.99, just to support the game I've been playing a lot, but since there are so many bugs still not fixed, I'm holding off.

Wow, I was pretty loose with my gems!

I didn't necessarily want the outfits for their abilities it was more to bulk up my wardrobe. I like to mix it up.

I would still gladly pay anything up to 150 gems for a less garish Berserker skin too!

I just decided to purchase the rest of the Enforcer outfit (since the rest was only 30 gems and my ticket to revert the accidental purchase is ignored), and I gotta say, wow, it really changes things. The enlargement of the selected item on the loot wheel is quite significant. I'd say almost twice as big (I thought it would be almost unnoticable). So its quite a game-changer.

Cool! If I needed items I would be all over that right away, but I dont so....I have to rank it for its future usefulness for Loot Wheel tracks. Unfortunately, the gem slot never increases in size normally....does it increase for you now? (hoping, but not really expecting it too)

I just checked, and no it doesnt work for the gems. Or maybe I just missed cause I tried it on a small screen of iphone, cause another item got enlarged. I'll confirm on an ipad later.
Anyways, remember those class III items on tier III tracks, so hard to get?, now they are much easier to get , and the regular items now occupy over half of loot wheel when clicked.

i'cve spend like 200€ already for this game w/out having extra-super-gear or 95 tracks (or more) and idk why you as an iOS user are still moaning.... least you had a real update and ALL Frontier tracks available. stop moaning about gems you have to use when you don't spend a dollar anyway.
wtf, ppl always find something to cry about.....

Some people spend money, other people spend time to get items in game for free. It's the player's choice.

If some paid players discuss about how much they spend in game, I will not say they are moaning.

Not sure this topic is really moaning about anything... It's more about comparing how much gems we spent. I think your post has more "moan" in it than all of ours, actually. I am guessing you are an Android user who could use your next update with another 14 tracks? Hopefully soon.... It's a bummer RL makes Android wait, but if you look on the bright side all these topics listing the costs and tracks, etc are going to let the Android folks (paying and non-paying) hit the ground running once it does arrive.

Glad you have the money to spend on this. . . And I hope you feel you got your money's worth even when RL lets so many of us work to have the same capabilities for free. Not everyone is willing to justify an expense of that magnitude for a mobile game, but if you can that's great! It means you approach the game differently than some of us, but that's fine. Feel free to start your own topic about all the money you spent, and how much money you think the game is worth (I promise not to moan or post on it... But I will read it)
