I was looking at the updated rider outfits and accidentally clicked on the robot pants trying to check my progress for the "beat different friends to unlock this outfit" task. the robot pant were something like 250 gems cause I had only beaten 1 friend at the time. Point is I don't want these robot pants. Is there a way to return the pants and get my gems back so I can spend them on what I bought them for? Unlocking the new tracks on the wheel

I to lost loads of gems this way I completed the tasks it wanted me to to unlock the clothing and shows the bar is full but then I clicked on it to see what is going on and it took the diamonds for it to unlock :@

Have you ever been able to get gems back?

It seems like there should be an extra step in the gem transactions. Like a, "are you sure u want to spend 300 gems on robot pants?", before they take your gems.
Or at least on transactions over 100 gems.

No I never got them back

All of the new outfits do cost some gems, even if the bar is full, so weller didn't lose any gems he wasn't supposed to. But accidentally buying an outfit before the bar is full like amir did is hopefully cause for a reimbursement of gems and return/re-locking of the purchased item.

I say hopefully because I did the exact same thing on the same enforcer outfit, only with the head at 5/10 and cost me something like 400 gems... I suffered the same lapse of judgment in thinking tapping on the icon of my friends would show me which ghosts I've already beaten. I hope they implement a confirmation box in a future update to prevent accidental purchases.

amir, did you submit a report of this in the game from the settings menu? Just wondering if they've gotten back to you and done something about it. I sent mine in tonight but won't hear back until Mon/Tue. Something similar happened to me with a different game and their support staff were quickly accommodating in refunding me, so I really hope I can get them back here, as 400 is quite a lot to lose like this.

The exact same just happened to me
Just wanting to check if beaten players name could be seen...
Very "clever" interface design to maximize misclicks. Surely I'll try to get my gems back somehow, let's hope for the best.

I did the same thing as ymja yestrday and lost over 90 gems on the head outfit. I was missing only one friend to beat 10, and wanted to scrub through the list of them, when touched it, I bought the darn head outfit. Grrrr. I already subumited a ticket asking if this could be reverted. There should be a confirmation or at least only the area with gems should be clickable not the whole image..

Bought the Priest jacket for 70 by accident.

It is particularly annoying because I only have 11 gems left which means I can't afford the Goon helmet when I finally unlock it. I was getting gems galore while I had gems but now I need them I can't land on them for toffee!

I agree with this!! I also have lost gems buy opening the FUEL screen and accidentally hitting one of the refill items in there.. A few times now I've done that and blown gems on fuel unnecessarily. An "ARE YOU SURE" option is a must.. Are we going to be refunded for the wasted gems? Very doubtful.
